Just a minute later, in heads up play, Cuc Dang and Sherece Gasaway bang away and Cuc comes out on top. Sherece had the A T and against Cuc’s K 9 took the worst of it when the board brought a T 7 K. No help came for Sherece and the pair of kings held up for the win.

With the board showing the A K 4, Cuc shoved 100K into the middle and Louise Francouer went to the tank for a few and decided to make her move. She pushed and Cuc called. Louise had the A T and Cuc big slick. Very few outs for Louise and none came her way. Louise Francouer from Palm Beach, FL takes 3^rd for $7,695.

Cuc took the chips back when her A 9 caught the ace against Sherece and her K T. Cuc took a whole bunch more chips off Sherece when she moved all in and got a call from Sherece. Sherece had the A 8 of clubs and Cuc the K Q offsuit. On the turn both had a pair and Cuc locked it up when the Queen hit the river and gave her two pair. .

Looks like the winds of change are blowing through. Sherece Gasaway doubled through with a pair of hooks vs Cuc Dang’s A 6. Sherece took more chips off Cuc when she reraised her from the big blind. Cuc called. When the flop hit Sherece hammered the felt with a 100K bet and Cuc gave it up. It is anyone’s game now folks.

Louise is making her move. She told me yesterday that she didnt know this was a 2 day event as she was really wanting to play the $2500 today. Well, she saved that $2500 and will add a lot to it, enough to buy her in to the final. Woohooo !!!!!

Get outta the way of the Cuc Dang train as she runs over another. Lua Tran bet her life on her pair of ladies when Cuc took them down with the boys, the K J. The flop brought the K . Lua Tran takes 4^th for $5,670.

With most the chips moving in the direction of Cuc Dang, another player who was short stacked had to make a move. Suda Baxter held the T 4 and got a jingle from Sherce Gasaway who held the computer hand, the Q 7 suited. The Queen high carried the hand and we lose Suda Baxter from Washington DC in 5^th for $4,860.

If Cuc Dang is in the hand, run Forest run! Dolores Talley was the next to fall to Cuc’s hatchet when she pushed all in with A K suited and Cuc called with J A suited. Of course, the J flopped for Cuc and Dolores Talley from Staten Island, NY, checked out in 6^th for $4,050.

After the nice take down a bit earlier, Heather Sue Mercer got to experience the agony of defeat as her A J (the satan hand) bumped into another killer hand by Cuc Dang, the A A. Heather Sue Mercer from Mt. Sinai, NY takes 7^th for $3,240.

In 8^th we have Kelly Petrucci. With no other choice, she moved all in with an A 5. Cuc Dang called with the 8 7 suited. Upon request by Cuc, the poker gods produced a set of sevens for her on the flop. Kelly Petrucci from Uniontown, PA is out 8^th for $2,430.

Lisa Treffinger was severly wounded when she pitted her K K against the A K suited held by Lua Tran. On the turn, Lua reached out and and found a straight and then to add insult to Lisa’s injury, she rivered a flush. A bit later, Lisa took her K Q and her short stack and tried to take down Dolores Talley and her pocket pair of threes. The threes were golden and we lose Lisa Treffinger out of Columbia, MD in 9^th for $1,620.

After about thirty minutes of an hour of play, we lose Carey Buck when her “presto” magic failed. Heather Sue Mercer pipped her by a pair of sixes and took her down. In 10^th place, Carey Buck from Stowe, PA for $1,053.
