Todd turns over pocket rockets and wins a monster. Wednesday, 25th of January 2006 03:16 PM Jean Bellande and Layne Flack are at adjoining tables and with Matusow gone the room has quieted down. So Jean and Layne have been yakking. Jean noted that they had about the same stacks and offered Layne "the better player" a last longer bet but he needed 3-2 odds. Layne said "even is even" or maybe that he should get 3-2. Jean asked the crowd if anyone would take Layne 3-2 against him, when one spectator say yes. Jean could not believe it and asked Daniel Negreanu if he thought 3-2 was a fair break. Daniel said, of course not, but he would take Layne 4-1. Jean could only shake his head.
