WSOP bracelet winner and Lock Poker Pro Jason Young's blog.
It is official. I signed a deal with Lock Poker and I am extremely excited to begin working with them!! Myself, Lee Childs, Mike Leah, Matt Stout, Joey Brooks, Jonathan Jaffe and Kyle Bowker have joined forces with Eric Lynch and Lock Poker, and there are a lot of great things to come from these players and this up and coming site! As for you guys, I have some ridiculous bonuses I can hook you up with. Use the signup code JYOUNG when downloading the Lock Poker software for 110% deposit bonus and email me for more info after you have done this at JYoungpoker@hotmail.com. I've been playing on Lock Poker all day and it is very smooth. I received some emails, texts, and facebook messages asking if I would play against you guys and the answer is absolutely. I've been playing $10 heads up sit n go's all day, talking trash and what not, having a blast! Most fun I've had playing poker in quite some time actually, and I look forward to more of the same, so if anyone wants to mess around on Lock, let me know and I'm in! None of this would have been possible without Gene, Eric, and, most of all, Randy Kasper's hard work and determination. Randy is my agent and one of the founders of PPI (pokerplayersinternational.com), which is REALLY taking the poker world by storm. If anyone didn't know about PPI before, they will know now that PPI is the world's biggest poker agency and these guys will work tirelessly and stop at nothing to see that each of the players represented by PPI will have the best shot possible at anything and everything offered to any professional poker player on the circuit, live or online. Each of the seven pros that just signed with Lock Poker are all represented by PPI. If you are playing poker for a living and are not currently represented by anyone, I would strongly advise you to go check out the PPI site, get in touch with these guys right away and see what they can do for you. While all of this was being finalized, I drove down to Borgata for there $1,500 deepstack tournament. They always get HUGE fields at Borgata and sure enough, there were 921 players in this event. The only thing I will say about my tournament is this: Level before dinner break, after a bit of a rally I get my entire 23k stack in pre-flop with A-A and am called by Q-Q, the door card was an Ace followed by a 3 and a Q, turn 3 river Q. FML! ANYWAYS, more importantly than what happened to me was what happened to my dad. He came in 58th of 921 players for a nice $3,500 payday!!! I was happier for him than I would be for me, and I watched him almost all of Day 2. I was pulling for him to make a big run and he came close. Not bad for a guy that has played four tournaments in the last two years. I'm sure he cant wait to get back to Borgata in September and give it another go! That's it for now. Just going to be hanging for the next few weeks, watching my Yanks beat up on the Sox this weekend and enjoying the rest of the summer. In the meantime, you can find me at the tables on Lock Poker, waiting for YOU! JY |
