Phil Gordon eliminated in 6th place: He was all in in his small blind. He held Q  8  Richardson held A  5  and Chris Ferguson held T  9 .  The board came 7  8  K A  2 and Phil Gordon bricked his many outs on the river to be eliminated. Richardson took in the pot.

Chris Ferguson out in 5th place: He was all in with AJ against the K3 of Adam Richardson and the AK of Alex Bolotin. The board would come 58T2K giving Alex the best hand and sending Ferguson out in 5th place.

There have been all ins after all ins. The short stacks keep doubling.

Eric Siedel eliminated in 4th place: He was all in with A  X aaginst the Q  7 of Adam Richardson and the 7  3  for Alex Bolotin. The board would come 2  A  5  4  K  and Seidel goes home in 4th place.  We do believe Bolotin got the side pot. Richardson got the main pot.

Rafe Furst was eliminated in 3rd place.

Heads up play went between Alexander Bolotin and Adam Richardson. It lasted 1 hand:

Richardson was all in during his big blind. Bolotin called. Bolotin held AH JS and Richardson had 7  5 . The board would come 3  2 2  6  9  to give Bolotin the best hand and for Richardson to be the second place finisher.

Alexander Bolotin wins $177,730 and during his interview with Norman Chad he stated he is giving 50% of his winnings to the cause.

He then took pictures with Annie Duke and Don Chedle.

Congrats to Alexander Bolotin on his win!

Well folks, It seems as if all the celebrities have busted from the event. There are still big names left in the field.

Play has been combined to the two final tables.  Before play began, Don Chedle and Annie Duke  did a breif announcement thanking the players for their support. Don Chedle then announced "Shuffle up and Deal".

Phil Gordon, Phil Tom and Jennifer Harman are at the main table.  Mike Sowers, Chris Ferguson are at the outer table.

Matt Graham was eliminated from the tournament.

Players are now on a break.

Steve Zolotow, Mike Sowers, Eric Siedel and Phil Gordon are at the main table. The secondary table area just lost the biggest name, Jason Alexander.

With Jason Alexander's elimination, there are no big celebrities left in the hunt.

Don Chedle's wife is still in the mix though.

There are only 3 tables left. Chris Ferguson, Jennifer Harman and John Hennigan are still alive in the tournament. They are on the regular tournament floor.

Action continues.....

Here are some of the players left: Jennifer Harman, John Hennigan (Last year's champion) Dennis Phillips, Mike Sowers, Matt Graham, Matt Damon, and Jason Alexander.

Eric Siedel eliminated a player and crippled another when he  was all in. Siedel held pocket sixes and the board was all low cards. He is now sitting healthy with around 50,000 in chips.

Ben Affleck came over to watch Eric Siedel win the pot and also to say hi to his pal, Matt Damon. Matt Damon is sitting at Eric Siedel's table, which is the main table.

There are 42 players left according to the tournament clock.

Jason Alexander was all in holding K7 versus an opponent who held Q9. The board would come 4KJ57 and Alexander would double up.

There are alot of Celebs still watching the action. Ben Affleck, Cedric the Entertainer, and Sarah Silverman are all hanging around. It has become a hardship for them to navigate the Amazon room due to the increasing amount of fans on the rail. The fans have even taken the roped off media section.

Steve Zolotow eliminated a player before the break.

Brad Garrett was eliminated when he held 8 2  against the pocket tens of one player and the K9 of another. The board would come 5  9  3  K  2 . Garrett was sent to the rail while saying " Thanks to Dennis the Mennis' father". He directed that comment at Eric Siedel.

Players are on a 15 minute break while the black and green chips are colored up.

Matt Damon eliminated a player: The flop was 3  9  6 . A player bet 4200 and Matt Damon moved all in. The camera crews were quickly called. Matt Damon turned over 9  6  and had his opponent beat when he turned over 7  7 . The turn came a 5 . Matt had to dodge a 7,4 or 8 to win the pot. The river was a J  and Matt Damon was up to about 40,000 in chips.

John Juanda doubles: He was all in preflop standing on his chair. He held Q  9  against his opponent who held A  8 . The board would come 5  9 Q  5  K  and Juanda doubled. He would then be eliminated around 20 minutes later.

(Elissa Harwood reporting)

Stars from the silver screen, the small screen, the boxing ring, the basketball court, and the felt have all come to the Rio in support of the Ante Up for Africa charity poker tournament, an event to raise awareness and funds for the conflict in Darfur. After nearly two hours of strolling the red carpet, posing for photos, and either signing autographs or ignoring the throngs of fans screaming their names, the stars have actually started to play some poker, all to the melodious sounds of Phil Hellmuth’s narration. “I think I speak for everyone,” Antonio Esfandiari said to Phil, “when I say that we’re glad this tournament has some form of luck, because otherwise you’d be sure to win.” He only got a few awkward laughs, but at least the media appreciated it.

In attendance today are of course the organizers, Annie Duke and Don Cheadle, as well as actors Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Dean Cain, and Jason Alexander. Personalities Cedric the Entertainer, Sarah Silverman, and Montel Williams are also holding court at their tables. Speaking of courts, Charles Barkely, the first to bust last year, is still in at the feature table. Rapper Nelly is also in the house, as is the extremely intimidating Mike Tyson.

Sen. Robert Menendez from New Jersey also stopped by with the crew from the Poker Players Alliance to show his support. Excellent to see some friendly Congressional faces at a poker tournament!

Stay tuned as we bring you all the high wattage action.

The third annual Ante Up for Africa is a tournament designed to raise the awareness about the humanitarian crisis in the Darfur region of Sudan. With a $5,000 buy-in and plenty of celebrity star power this charity event has raised over $2 million so far. In 2008 the final two, Dan Shak and Brandon Moran donated their winnings to the charity. This year ESPN will be on hand to film the event for later airing as a part of their 2009 World Series of Poker programming. The famous faces all come out for this one, so be sure to keep your eyes right here with Poker Pages as action gets underway at 2 p.m. PDT.
