Three strikes and Nam's out.
Entering heads-up play, Nam trailed ElkY 15,635,000 to 925,000 and would need a comeback of David Chiu (WPT Championship) proportions.
Nam wasted no time, getting it all in on the first hand holding AJ. He was met by and Elky call with Q3. The board would run out 10 8 9 4 5 and Nam's ace-high was good enough for a double up.
On the very next hand, Nam was at it again. This time he called the all in shove of ElkY, his deuces against the measley 63 of Grospellier. The deuces never trailed as the dealer ran out A 8 A K Q and Nam was 2 for 2 with the all ins.
Then on the third hand of heads up, Nam would limp, only to see ElkY make it 700K. Nam would shove again, this time met with the snap by ElkY.

Grospellier - 10 10 Le - A Q

Grospellier finds a set of tens in the window and has Le drawing to a chop on the turn. Once the king fell on the river, ElkY had done it.

... And we're heads-up.
Apparrently Odie was fed up with ElkY's min-raises and pumped it up from 330K to 1,130,000. ElkY then moved all in, sending Odie up from his seat.
"That's a move," said Odie. "I call."
Odie turned over A J , way out in front of ElkY, who sheepishly turned over 10 2 . The 9 2 4 flop paired ElkY's deuce, giving him the lead. But Odie held the nut flush draw, along with pair outs. After the 9 turned, Odie was looking for any spade, ace, jack or four to stay alive. But the dealer could only lay out a 3 , making Odie's big call his last one.
Osmin "Odie" Dardon is out in 3rd, taking home $506,245.
ElkY and Nam will get a short break as they bring in the money.

We have a new chip leader.
Odie Dardon has been on a run and after three key pots vs Grospellier, he's leapfrogged ElkY in the counts.
First it was Odie reraising to 1.8 million after a Q-7-3 flop, chasing off ElkY. Then his A9 would find a pair of aces on the river to take a another nice pot away from last year's PCA champ.
On the last hand, Odie watched ElkY call his 400K raise to see the A5Q flop. They would both check the 7 turn and after another 7 fell on the river, Odie would pop ElkY's min-bet up to 860 and get a call. After Odie turned over A10 for aces up, ElkY mucked his hand and surrendered his chip lead.

| Osmin "Odie" Dardon | |
After Nam got out of the way on the button, Odie shoved his last 1.7 million in from the SB. Elky would make the call.
"I need some paint," said Odie, as he turned over QJ. Grospellier placed A3 on the table. By the turn, the board read J-6-K-10 and ElkY was hoping Odie would find two pair, so he could put him away with Broadway. But after the dealer bricked off a trey, an excited Odie had doubled and celebrated with his friends on the rail
"By the way, Nam, Were you rooting for me? Be honest," asked Odie as he returned to his seat.
A sleepy Nam nodded as he sipped some coffee.
ElkY is down to about 10 million. Odie and Nam are hovering around 3 million a piece.

After Odie gave it up on the button, Grospellier shoved from the SB. Nam looked down at AJ and made the quick call. Grospellier smiled as he turned over just 83. After the dealer ran out the Q 9 Q 4 6 board, Nam's ace-high was still good and he had doubled through the chip leader.
Updated chip counts:
Seat 2 - Osmin "Oddie" Dardon - 1,640,000 Seat 3 - Bertrand "Elky" Grospellier - 12,295,000 Seat 4 - Nam Le - 2,625,000
Price of poker just went up. Players now have to deal with level 26, which means 80,000-160,000 blinds and 15,000 antes.

| Nenad Medic - 4th | |
Sunday, 26th of October 2008 06:25 PM
Nenad Medic was the latest to fall to the ElkY steamroll.
When the cards were turned, Nenad's pocket sixes were racing with the KJ of Grospellier. The chip leaders good run would continue as a jack showed itself in the window. By the river the board read J-9-3-2-5 and Medic's 66 went into the muck, along with his tournament hopes.
Nenad Medic is our 4th-place finisher and will pocket $373,010.
ElkY now has about 14 million, while the Odie and Nam are sitting behind about 2 million each.

The players are taking a short break as the WPT chages their tapes.
So far, it's been all ElkY at the final table. The EPT PokerStars Carribbean adventure champ now has close to 11 million in chips, almost twice as much as the other three players combined.

| Adam "Roothlus" Levy - 5th | |
Sunday, 26th of October 2008 05:15 PM
If you're wondering how many times Roothlus could shove before ElkY called, the answer is five.
This time, ElkY opened with a raise to 265,000 before Roothlus came over the top with the rest of his chips, about 2 million and change. ElkY would call to turn over a couple queens, in front of Levy's A9. Nothing changed after the K-3-2 flop, and after a Q turned, Levy was drawing dead to ElkY's set of queens.
Adam "Roothlus" Levy is out in 5th-place, earning $266,445.

| William Mietz - 6th | |
Sunday, 26th of October 2008 05:05 PM
Right on the heels of the Nam double up was another all in and a call.
William Mietz would call an ElkY preflop raise from the button. They would both check the ragged 9-7-4 flop. After another 9 turned, an ElkY bet was countered by a Mietz all in. ElkY wouldn't waste much time coming up with the call to turn over A10. Mietz showed a dominated K10. After another 9 came on the river, ElkY's ace-high call turned out to be a great one. Mietz is a gone, while Grospellier adds to his chip lead.
William Mietz earns $186,510 for finishing in 6th-place.

Players haven't been too shy about getting it all in during the final table's early stages. Adam "Roothlus" Levy was all in on the first hand, taking down the blinds. A couple hands later, he came over the top of a Nam Le raise to chip up.
Nam Le was the only one to get action on his shove. After it folded around to Grospellier in the SB, he shipped it. Nam looked down at AK and snapped. ElkY turned over A 9 .
By the turn, ElkY had picked up straight-flush draw on the 7 5 2 8 board. But the river would brick off a jack and Nam's big slick was good for the double.
Nam started off a little sluggish, but got right back to 2.2 million at the expense of the chip leader.
Sunday, 26th of October 2008 04:25 PM
We're just about to get underway at the final table. Apparrently, Nam Le's dinner was running a little long and he was about 20 minutes late. He's here now and Jack McClelland is about done with the player introductions.
Play will pick right back up in level 25, with 50,000-100,000 blinds and 10,000 antes.
Shuffle up and deal!
