After an extended four-handed struggle, Brite pushed under-the-gun with A8s, and Yawitz called from the small blind with KTo. A king hit the flop, and busted Brite out in 4th place.
Down to three handed, the players resumed deal negotiations. An agreement was reached, and so the players ordered cocktails and played for the bracelet. After a few minutes of light-hearted sparring, Candido pushed with K9s and was called by Lakatosh with KJo. Lakatosh flopped Broadway and busted Candido in 3rd.
Finally, with the blinds at $10,000-$20,000, Lakatosh moved in for $390,000 on the button with A9, and Yawitz called with K9. Lakatosh flopped an ace, but Yawitz made an improbable runner-runner straight, to the amusement of the spectators.
