Rob won back-to-back pots. In the first, he made trip 8s, getting action all the way to showdown. In the second, he again got action all the way and won with two pair. After those pots, Rob was back up to 3.8 million to Jerrod’s 800k. Rob won another pot making a wheel with his deuce. Then he won another pot with a four-flush on the board – he held the 4 of that suit. Jerrod was down to 350k. Play continued into Level 25: Blinds 30k/60k, Limits 60k/120k. Rob raised and Jerrod re-raised, committing the last of his chips. Rob held A5 and was ahead of Jerrod’s T7. The board came A 5 4 3 Q and it is over! The flop came 8 7 3 giving Tommy the pair and the lead, but a Queen came on the turn giving Rob the bigger pair and the lead. Tommy’s hopes for survival were hanging on the river card being a 9 or 8. No such miracle occurred, however. The river was a Jack and Tommy was jacked. Tommy Hang finished in 3rd place, earning $194,674. Heads-up play has begun.
