It's over!

First it was the quiet Hurst getting bounced during the Hold'em round.

Kloeckner made it 80K and Hurst would reraise to 175. Kloeckner would make the call. J Q 9 on the flop and Kloeckner makes Hurst commit the rest of his stack.

The cards were turned and Kloeckner's A-7 was actually in the lead. Hurst tabled K-7 and would be looking for help in a big way. The 6 on the turn and ace on the river provided no help at all.

Greg Hurst earns $94,599 for finishing in 3rd-place.

Pescatori and Kloeckner would enter heads-up with fairly even stacks. Pescatori would quickly change that by reraising Kloeckner off of a Q-10-5 board for a 900K pot.

Kloeckner would battle, hanging on to 400K for quite a while. Then the two danced.

Pescatori raised to 72K and Kloeckner called. K J 3 on the flop and Kloeckner would call 110K from Pescatori. The 2 fell on the turn and Kloeckner checked again. This time Pescatori would pot it, making it 364K to go. Kloeckner would tank, before moving his whole stack in, worth about 500K. Max would call and table K J 8 7 , good for top two pair and a heart draw. Kloeckner would turn over J-10-10-3 and would be looking for a non-heart 10. Instead, the 2 fell, giving the hand and the match to Pescatori.

Kyle Kloeckner pockets $152,410 as runner-up.

Max Pescatori has claimed his second career bracelet and $246,509.

Cunningham rides the Hold'em roller coaster.

Allen Cunningham found himself down to just a few blinds after running into the pocket tens of Kloeckner. He wouldn't let that keep him down.

Cunningham would procede to get in good twice and double through both Pescatori and Kloeckner to chip back up. First it was Allen's 8-6 outkicking Pescatori's 5-6, then his K-Q taking care of Kloeckner's Q-9. Then he'd make a pay jump.

Hegeman gets clocked by Kloeckner.

Hegeman made it 80K to go and saw both Kloeckner and Pescatori join him to the flop. The dealer fanned out the 4-5-J flop and Hegeman would shove his last 125K and get a call from Kloeckner.

Hegeman's A-K-J-9 rainbow was good for top pair, but Kloeckner had a lot of outs as he tabled 4-6-8-9. One of those outs showed up on the turn, the 7s. Hegeman was dead and headed for the payouts.

Kyle Hegeman out in 5th-place, worth a $62,014 consolation prize.

Cunningham's last stand.

Cunningham would manage to double up again, this time in an Omaha confrontation with Kloeckner. Shortly after, Cunningham would be forced to lay down to a Pescatori reraise, leaving Allen with just 210K.

Cunningham would soon be forced to move his last 100K in with just J-9-7-2. Of course, Kloeckner would choose this time to wake up with a hand, A-A-10-3. An ace on the flop would be all Kloeckner needed to KO the five-time bracelet winner.

Allen Cunningham will have to settle for 4th-place, $76,204, but no bracelet.

Chips:

Max Pescatori - 750,000
Kyle Kloeckner - 550,000
Greg Hurst - 472,000

Players are on dinner break until 10 p.m.

Holtkamp runs into a big one.

During Omaha, Lennart Holtkamp put in a raise and had Kloeckner see the Ah8s6s flop with him. Kloeckner leads out for 75K. Holtkamp then announces pot and Kloeckner commits the rest of his stack. Holtkamp turns over A-K-10-5, holding a slight lead over Kloeckner's scary 10s10c9h7s, which was good for a wrap and a straight flush draw.

The 9s turned and Kloeckner had miraculously hit his straight flush. Holtkamp was drawing dead. Kloeckner doubles to near 400K.

Holtkamp runs out of gas.

Shortly after, three players would see an unraised flop. Ks2s8d on the board and Holtkamp leads out for 20K. Max Pescatori would call and Greg Hurst got out of the way.

Ac on the turn and this time Holtkamp would check. Pescatori would make it 75K to see the river, then Holtkamp would complete the check-raise, pushing in his last 160K. Pescatori would make the call, tabling K-K-9-9, good for top set. Holtkamp showed AsJs5s6h, looking for a spade.

The spade wouldn't come and Pescatori would improve to a boat after the river paired the deuce on the board.

Lennart Holtkamp has been eliminated in 7th-place, good for $38,365 at the payouts desk.

Pescatori has reclaimed the chip lead.

Chips:

Max Pescatori - 666000
Kyle Kloeckner - 597000
Jonathan Depa - 290000
Allen Cunningham - 280000
Greg Hurst - 255000
Kyle Hegeman - 180000

Hegeman doubles.

While playing some PLO, Kyle Hegeman made it 42K to see the flop. Pescatori would pay it. K-7-6 on the flop and Pescatori leads for 65K. Hegeman then shoves the rest of his stack and it would be a whole 12K more for Max to call. He would pay the 12K.

The hands are turned and Hegeman shows K-Q-10-7, having flopped top two pair. Pescatori's A-K-J-5 was good for top pair. Hegeman would watch an ace fall on the turn and his lead dissappear. Pescatori was poised to KO Hegeman, until the river 7 filled him up. Hegeman is up to 250. Pescatori has dipped below 300K.

Hegeman seems to feel right at home at this PLO/PLHE final table, and for good reason. Hegeman already has two cashes on his 2008 WSOP resume; a 37th-place finish in Event 3, $1,500 Pot Limit Hold'em, and a 13th-place finish in Event 19, $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha.

Players returned from the day's first 20-minute break to some slow play. It was a while before a flop was actually seen.

Then, during some Hold'em, Lennart Holtkamp made some noise.

After Jonathan Depa opened to 42K and Hegeman reraised to 150K, Holtkamp would look down at a couple ladies in the hole and call off his last 110K. Depa didn't want any of it, but Hegeman was already committed to playing.

It was Hegeman's tens against the Q-Q of the Netherlands native. Holtkamp spiked a queen right off the bat. Hegeman would find a 10 on the river, but by that time, it was meaningless. Holtkamp's set of queens was good.

Play has slowed.

It's Omaha time again and after the two early eliminations, the game has turned to 'raise it and take it'. Allen Cunningham has been the most active from this standpoint, contributing close to 50 percent of the early raises.

The only one to stand up to Allen so far, Max Pescatori.

After Kloeckner opened for a raise, both Cunningham and Pescatori would call. Kc3c6h on the flop and Cunningham would lead out for 50K. Pescatori would pot it, pushing in 250K, leaving only 20K behind. Kloeckner would muck. Cunningham wouldn't think long before mucking as well, showing the ace of clubs on the way down.

The Kyles would have a small clash.

Kyle Kloeckner would raise to 25K from UTG and Kyle Hegeman would call from the BB. Both players would check the 10-5-2 flop and Ad on the turn. Hegeman would decide to bet the Ac on the river. Kloeckner would call to see the Hegeman held 3-4 and turned a wheel. Kloeckner would muck.

New chip counts:

Kyle Kloeckner - 485,000
Allen Cunningham - 470,000
Jonathan Depa - 390,000
Max Pescatori - 350,000
Greg Hurst - 320,000
Kyle Hegeman - 250,000
Lennart Holtkamp - 147,000

Final table starts off with a bang.

While play marched into the early morning hours to reach the Day Two target of a nine-handed final table, players have wasted little time moving the chips around in some early Hold'em action.

John-Paul Kelly was the first to go.

Down to his last 65K, Kelly came over the top of the chip leader, Kyle Kloeckner's raise to 25K. Kloeckner would call the extra 40K.

The cards were revealed and Kloeckner's A-10 had Kelly's K-J at risk. Right off the bat, an ace pops up in the window of the A-5-6 flop. Blanks on the last two streets meant we lost our first player of the day.

John-Paul Kelly is out in 9th-place, earning $22,598.

Minh Ly was the next to go.

Minh Ly's day started off bad. Just minutes after entering eight-handed play, Ly saw his jacks lose in a race with the A-K of Jonathan Depa, leaving Minh with only 4K.

Ly would then find himself all in from the SB. Allen Cunningham and Kyle Hegeman would check down the nine-high board, Hegeman's K-Q outkicking both Cunningham's K-5 and the K-2 of Ly.

Out in 8th-place, Minh Ly, who will pocket $30,482 for his efforts.

New chip counts:

Kyle Kloeckner - 443,000
Allen Cunningham - 440,000
Jonathan Depa - 367,000
Max Pescatori - 367,000
Lennart Holtkamp - 238,000
