| Natale Kuey - 7th place | |
Just four minutes into the new level, it is over. Natale Kuey moved in and Ted Forrest made the call. Natale held AK off and Ted's pocket 6s were in the lead. Board came Q T 5 6 T and Ted adds salt to the wound as he makes a full house to bust Natale. Natale Kuey finished in 7th place, earning $71,061. That's it for today. Players are counting now and the numbers will be posted shortly. Tuesday, 08th of April 2008 03:23 PM Level 22: Blinds 15k/30k with 4k antes. Play has resumed. One more player must go! | Erik Seidel
Ted Forrest called utg, Erik Seidel called from the cutoff, Robert Richardson completed the small, and Natale Kuey checked his option. The flop was T 6 2 . Robert lead for 70k, Natale and Ted folded, then Erik called. Turn was the 8 . Again Robert fired 70k and Erik called. River was the A and this time Robert fired 200k, which Erik again called. Robert held J T for a pair of Tens, but Erik showed Q 9 for the flush to drag the large pot. Erik Seidel raised to 70k from the button and Frank Cieri moved all in from the small blind. Erik said "I meant to only raise to 65k, can I take 5k back?" as he mucked his hand. End of level 21 and break time. Tuesday, 08th of April 2008 02:33 PM

| Natale Kuey | |
Erik Seidel opened for 65k and Frank Cieri called. Then Natale Kuey moved in for ~140k from the big blind. Erik re-raised to isolate and Frank got out of the way. Natale held A 3 and was dominating Erik's K 3 (no, that is not a typo). The board came T 7 6 7 5 and Natale doubled up. Tuesday, 08th of April 2008 02:24 PM Rough chip counts: |

| Allen Bari - 8th place | |
Andrew Barta opened for 70k from the middle and then Allen Bari moved in from the cutoff for 357k straight. Andrew made the call, showing pocket Kings. Allen's AQ off would need to improve, but the flop came K 4 4 giving Andrew a full house. Allen was left needing running Aces or running fours to survive. An Ace came on the turn, giving him a glimmer of hope, but the river was a 2 and Andrew took the pot. Allen Bari finished in 8th place, earning $48,450. Tuesday, 08th of April 2008 01:38 PM Level 21: Blinds 12k/24k with 3k antes. Play has resumed. Here are the chip counts: |
| 1 | Erik Seidel | 2,557,000 | | 6 | Ted Forrest | 2,056,000 | | 8 | Adam Katz | 2,015,000 | | 3 | Robert Richardson | 1,104,000 | | 7 | Andrew Barta | 1,045,000 | | 2 | Frank Cieri | 746,000 | | 9 | Allen Bari | 406,000 | | 5 | Natale Kuey | 234,000 | | Total chips in play | 10,380,000 | | Players remaining | 8 | | Average stack | 1,297,500 |
Tuesday, 08th of April 2008 01:22 PM Ted Forrest opened for 40k up front. Allen Bari called, Erik Seidel called from the cutoff, and Natale Kuey called from the big blind. The flop was K 5 3 rainbow. Checked to Allen, who fired 110k. Folded back to Ted Forrest, who check-raised to 225k. Allen folded and Ted picked up a nice pot. End of level 20 and players are taking a 15 minute break. | Michael Farris - 9th place
Michael Farris' survival was short-lived. After Robert Richardson limped in, Michael made the shove. All folded back to Robert, who made the call. This time Michael rolled over K T and was trailing Robert's pocket 7s (with the 7 ). The board came 9 6 4 9 2 and although Michael picked up some outs on the turn, it was not to be. Michael Farris finished in 9th place, earning $40,378. Tuesday, 08th of April 2008 12:44 PM Early action has been, well, dull. "Raise and take it" was the formula. The some excitement started brewing when Michael Farris moved in for ~250k from the middle. Then Ted Forrest made the call from the cutoff. Michael held AJ offsuit and Ted's AQ offsuit was crushing him. It looked like Michael was headed for 9th place, but then the board ran out 6 5 4 3 2 putting a straight on the board and splitting the pot. Tuesday, 08th of April 2008 12:06 PM Level 20: Blinds 10k/20k with 3k antes (still). Clock has been set to 1 hour, 15 minutes. Play is underway!
