EPT San Remo from the Casino San Remo in Italy - Day 2 Summary
One of the biggest prize pools in EPT history was up for grabs and just over 200 players made it to the Casino San Remo for Day 2. Only the top 72 would make the money and only the top 32 would make it to Day 3. Italian Max Pescatori was one of the earlier eliminations of Day 2, failing to reach the money, as was Team PokerStars' Daniel Negreanu. They were joined on the rail by Roland de Wolfe, who had his Q-Q rivered by J-J to keep him from cashing. Liz Lieu and Antonio Esfandiari each fell short of the money as well. In just a little over three hours, the field was cut in half. Soon, the money buble had burst and people were guaranteed €5,750 ($ 8,872 USD). After the money bubble busted, Dane Theo Jorgensen was knocked out in 70th place, who was joined later by American Brandon Schaefer, 56th, and Rob Holink, 47th.
