PokerStars EPT Polish Open from Hyatt Regency in Warsaw, Poland - Day 2 Summary
While 130 players entered the Hyatt Regency for Day 2 play of the PokerStars EPT Polish Open, just 26 will return tomorrow, Friday, where they will play down to the final table. Andy Black's day was a prime example of the swings of NLHE tournaments. From average stack, to big stack, to short stack, all before the Irishman finished the day just below the chip average. Trond Eidsvig was able to double up late and survive, after his queens held against pocket tens. Eidsvig and Thierry van der Berg each tied the EPT season record with four cashes, but Thierry was one of the many casualties after the bubble burst and his Polish Open is over. Claus Nielsen was responsible for sending Thierry to the rail. Nielsen's jacks outflopped Thierry's queens after a jack high flop to pad his stack and inch towards the chip lead. Nielsen will enter Day 3 with a stack of 345K, trailing only Juan Lapido Maceiras of Spain and his 388,000 chips.
