PokerStars EPT Polish Open from Hyatt Regency in Warsaw, Poland - Day 1A Summary
Tuesday saw 190 players make their way to the Hyatt Regency in the Polish capitol of Warsaw.  Each would pony up the 20,000 Polish Zloty (approximately €5,750) buy-in for the latest EPT stop.  By the end of Day 1A play, just 73 would be bagging chips with hopes of capturing the 2008 Polish Open title.

Team PokerStars Pros Dario Minieri and Katja Thater were among the many casualties in the first of two Day 1 flights. Polish pop star Michal Wisniewski was also in the field, but was forced to dance his way out after just one day.  Peter Jepsen was crowned the inaugural EPT Polish Open champ last year, but won't be able to repeat after falling during Day 1A.

Robert Fink was able to pick up A-K and fend off Casey Kastle's J-J after the board fell A-A-4-Q-6.  The pot of 50,000 was enough to vault Fink to the top spot, where he would remain for the rest of the day.
