Rolf's European Tournament Reporting

Friday, 28th of September 2007 09:38 AM

For many years, I have taken care of the coverage of all major European tournaments for you guys. This included all EPT's, and also tournaments like the European WPT and the Master Classics of Poker.

Now that many different sites offer rather similar updates to the way I used to do things, and also because I thought it was time to focus on some new / other endeavors, we have decided to put the European reporting on hold at least for now. This doesn't mean there won't be any updates or tournament reports in my blog anymore. Quite the contrary, I plan to play some more tournament poker, and intend to have a more 'personal' and frequently updated blog along the lines of my most recent WSOP reports. The exact details of how we will proceed are being negotiated right now, and I will let you guys know once I have any more information. Suffice to say that I want to thank you all for the attention & appreciation you have given me over the years. It's been a pleasure taking care of this for you all, and I hope that these reports may have had at least some positive influence on the development of poker in Europe. And of course, all of my previous tournament reports will stay available in the archives.

So, no updates from the EPT London, or from the EPT Baden / PokerEM. I will not be there are a player either, as I am traveling the US right now. Once I return, I will provide you guys with my tournament schedule here in this blog, so that those of you who want to follow me can do so.

From the Milner Hotel in Detroit, I say: Take care - and good luck.
