Jeffrey Yoon sits back down after his 1 round penalty and the table gets quiet. Steve Simmons leans over to Jeffrey and says, "I'm doing this crossword puzzle and I'm trying to figure out a 4 letter word for sex." The entire table erupts in laughter and Jeffrey has a puzzled look on his face. That has to be the funniest thing I've ever heard on a poker table.
Speaking of Jeffrey, he's doubled up twice in the past 4 hands. he is now at 36,600, roughly.

The cards get in the air, but Jeffrey Yoon won't get to see them for one round. He dropped the F-bomb and is sent to poker detention!

On a flop of K-8-4, Mike Baxter leads out with a 30k bet and the action is over to Michael Pesek. Michael had raised pre-flop and now takes control again by moving all-in. Mike insta-called and turned over the K-8 and Michael was sick to see that his pocket A's were dominated. The turn was a 5 and the river came a 9. Michael Pesek has finished his day in 8th earning $6,435.

Shannon Shorr was in middle position and made the raise to 6,400 total. Mike Baxter flat called and the action folded over to Michael Pesek who moved all-in. Shannon went in the tank for a minute before calling the all-in bet and Baxter folded. Michael turned pocket 10's and Shannon looked good to double through with his pocket J's. The flop was a monstrous 10-3-Kr, giving Michael the upper hand. The turn was an 8, and the river card was a 7. Shannon fought hard to get to the final table tonight, but is our first final table casualty finishing in 9th earning $5,630.

Commotion in the room ensues...
I'm in the middle of watching a 3 way all-in fest with Shannon Shorr and 2 other players, when I see that there is an all-in on the other table. So, we have a total of 3 players all-in with 2 of them on one table. the hands in that all-in were pocket the A's of Michael Pesek, against the pocket 8's of Shannon, against the A-Qo of George Lasko. The board reads 2-4-Q-5-6 and Michael scoops in a big pot, cripples Shannon and knocks out George Lasko in 11th.
The other hand that was played out simultaneously was the one that knocked out Eugene Todd. On the turn of 6-Q-3-9, Eugene fired out a bet and got insta-raised by his opponent who was putting Eugene all-in. Eugene called and we saw the hands with Eugene way behind with his 9-8 versus the pocket 3's of his opponent. The river was a 4 and Eugene was sent packing in 10th.
The room erupts as two players are popped! We now have a final table and I'll get the info out as soon as I can!

Richard Robert just put his tournament on the line with pocket 7's and got the call from Eugene Todd, who held the A-Qo. The flop was A-10-8r, the turn was a 4 and the river was a J. Richard Robert is out in 12th.
Tuesday, 21st of August 2007 09:11 PM
On a flop of 7 Q 8 , John Alex led out with a 10k bet and Mike Baxter moved all-in. Richard Robert, who was OTB was forced to fold after tanking for a minute or two and John Alex called, but was covered by Mike. The two hands were exposed and Mike baxter was in on a draw with 6 4 versus the K-Jo of John alex. The turn was a 10 which helped neither player. The river A did help Mike make his flush and John alex is out in 13th.

The players have asked that I not open my big mouth about the slow play (I hope they aren't really reding this at the tables). We just lost 2 players at the same time on different tables. I didn't catch Donald Fryer's hand, but he was sent to the rail in 15th.
Michael Pierce moved all-in with a short stack and got the call from James Dowdy who was holding pocket 10's. Pierce needed some help from his J 7 when the flop came A 5 A . The turn was too bad for Pierce when the 10 popped out and the river was a meaningless 9. Michael Pierce is out in 14th.

Khamsy Nuanmanee put her tournament life on the line holding pcket J's versus the A-K of Michael Pesek. The flop looked good for her when the 3-4-Q flopped, but the turn was a K and the river was also a K. Khamsy's day is done in 17th.
Tuesday, 21st of August 2007 07:38 PM
Blinds are up to 600-1,200 with a 200 ante.

Tuesday, 21st of August 2007 07:29 PM
John Armbrust just got busted by Jack Alex's pocket J's versus the A-10 of john. The board came 5-5-6-3-4 and that did it for John who is out in 18th.
