The flop was 9 J J, giving both players some options. The turn was the 9 and the door was closed on Aziz's flush. Danny Wong pulls down a 210k pot.

Friday, 10th of August 2007 02:27 AM

With the board reading J-10-7-A-8, Danny Wong checked to Patrick Aziz who made it 13k into a 30k pot. Danny called and turned up the A-K and Aziz folded. Danny is up to 80k.

The 3 players have been swapping chips back and forth for the past 30 minutes. Danny has been able to donate all but 50k of his stack when he was faced with an all-in by both players in seperate hands. he is the absolute shortstack and will need to make a move soon.

Friday, 10th of August 2007 01:53 AM

Blinds are at 3k-6k with a 1k ante.

Guesstimate again:
Danny 176k
Patrick 327k
Rick 153k

The money trail is following the button. the raises are usually in the 17k-20k range.

Friday, 10th of August 2007 01:27 AM

Danny Wong (sb) and George Rahme (BB) were on the turn which was Q J 9 8. Danny fired out a smallish bet and George moved all-in for his last 60k. just a guesstimate but:

Rick Fuller 265k
Patrick Aziz 227k
George Rahme 90k
Danny Wong 75k

Rick has been enfuego in the last half of this tournament. Patrick on the other hand, has picked his battles well. George Rahme was the short stack coming into day 2 and has been hitting some sick river cards. Danny has also been catching some hands at the right time to stay afloat.

Friday, 10th of August 2007 01:08 AM

just a few minutes after the miracle on turn street for Rick, we see a flop of 2-Q-7 between Rick and Barry Woods. Rick bet out and Barry moved all-in. Rick made the decision to call and the hands were turned up. Rick held 8-2 and Barry had top pair with the Q-10. the turn was another heartbreak...2! On a flop of A 7 8 and a 30k pot in the middle, Larry Gordon decided that his hand was good and moved all-in. Rick Fuller, who has been playing very solid poker all night, thought he smelled a rat and decided to call. The 10 9 of Larry was ahead of Rick's 2 pir, A's and 8's. The turn was a heartbreaker for Larry when the 8 came giving Rick the full house, but Larry stil had a re-draw to the strainght flush. The river dropped a 4 and that did it for Larry Gordon who finished 8th earning $6,205.

George Yutuc was crippled in a hand right before the break when his 7's ran up against K's and he was left with 30k. when we returned, we saw him move all-in in the cut-off and get the immediate call fom Larry Gordon. gordon had the pocket rocket's and George asked the dealer nicely for diamonds when he turned over K 2. The flop saw no 's, but it was a ray of hope with the 8-Q-K. the turn 8 helped nobody. The river was a 4 and that did it for George Yutuc who finished 9th earning $5,425.

On a flop of J 5 3, Thanh Luong announced that he was all-in. It took a minute for Danny Wong to make a decision to, "gamble" and he turned up his 8 2 against Thanh's Q 9 and it looked bad for Danny. The turn was a 8 giving Wong the lead. The river was an A and Danny wong doubles up.

In late position, Kim Byung Yeon made an all-in bet and got the call from Thanh Luong, who was in the sb. Yeon turned up A-K and Luong turned up the pocket Q's and we're off to the races. The first leg of the race brought out the J-4-4 and the queen's were still in the lead. The turn was the 5, leaving Yeon with only 6 outs. The river was a 6 and Kim Byung Yeon finished 10th earning $4,650.

On a flop of K-K-4, George yutuc made it 15k to go and Barry Woods moved all-in for his remaining 30k. George finally decided to make the call and it was bad news. George had pocket 8's and Barry had pocket 9's. The turn was a 3 and the river was the overkill 9 and Barry has doubled up.

Just as I say that Rick is looking down and out. He picks up pocket A's and puts out our 11th place player Alan Myerson who was holding A-5.

we now have our final table set. Chip counts and seats to follow.

Thursday, 09th of August 2007 10:40 PM

Rick Fuller is hemorrhaging chips off at a quick rate. He actually had the advantage on the flop of 6 10 4. Barry Woods moved all-in and Rick insta-called and had the 7 5 for the straight draw and the flush draw and Barry only had A-9. The turn was the 2 and the river was the 10 leaving A high as the best hand.

several hands later, on a board of 7-K-K-3-Q, Dat Luong fired out 10k and Rick made the reluctant call. Dat turned up the K-3 and Rick folded.

Thursday, 09th of August 2007 10:21 PM

Michael kamran just felt the wrath of Larry Gordon. Pre-flop Larry made it 7k to go and it folded to Kamran who moved all-in and got the call from Gordon. The A-K of Kamran was way out in front of the A-J of Gordon. the flop was10-6-3. The turn was the dreaded J and the river was a 7 and Michael Kamran just got the same fate that Joe sebok received from Larry Gordon. Kamran is out in

Blinds are up to 1k-2k with a 400 ante.

Some of the players are trying to get the blinds reduced to a 25 ante with 100-200 blinds. in a related note, did you know that players who want a reduction in blinds probably don't have the chips to make the blinds? Seriously though, the were asking for the reduction so they could play each other instead of playing deep stack poker.

As I was typing the info on Joe Sebok's hand, J.C. Tran was put out on an all-in call from Larry Gordon. J.C. is out in 13th. I'll get the info from his table and fill you in as soon as I can.

In middle position, Larry Gordon made it 7k to go. Behind him, Joe Sebok calmly pushed his 14k in the middle and waited to see what Larry would do. Larry took a few minutes before making the call, but he did and showed the K-J. Sebok had him crushed with the A-K. The flop was a devastating 2-J-2, but left Joe some outs. the turn was a 6 and now Joe needed one of 3 aces. The river was a 10 and that did it for Joe Sebok who finished in 14th.

J.C. Tran made another double up on a high card and is now holding 45k. He started the day with 13k, so it's been a batlle for him all day.

The players have returned from their break to 300 ante's and 800-1,600 blinds. I forgot to mention that you can e-mail me at bheptin@gmail.com if you have any questions or comments.

Thursday, 09th of August 2007 08:58 PM

The players have just gone on a 10 minute breather. The chipleader with 78k is Rick Fuller who is sitting in the 1 seat at table 26. He has been playing well for the first part of the tournament and looks to be a force at the final table.

Joe Sebock is sitting on 27k and made a move all-in right before the break, but got no callers.

Thursday, 09th of August 2007 08:31 PM

The game is very low-key despite the 4 players being busted.

Thursday, 09th of August 2007 08:19 PM

In middle position, George Yutuc made it 4k to go. Javid Javani moved all-in for an aditional 17k and George called. The two hands were turned up and George was domintaing Javid's pocket 5's versus Yutuc's pocket Q's. The flop was A-K-3, the turn was an 8 and the river was a 2. The day is now over for Javid Javani who is out in 15th.

Thursday, 09th of August 2007 08:07 PM

Justin Bonomo, one of the great's in online poker, was playing very fast and loose today. Thanh Luong was in the cutoff and limped in and Justin made it 7k to go. Thanh re-raised all-in and Justin went into the tank before announcing, "I'm pot commited, so I gotta call" and turns up his Q-10. Thanh had K-9 and we're off to the flop which was 2-4-6. The turn was a 7 and the river was a J. Thanh's K high wins the pot and Justin Bonomo is out in 16th.

Thursday, 09th of August 2007 07:55 PM

J.C. Tran has been pushing his stack in the middle so much, that he was getting an elbow cramp on his right arm. On a flop of 3 6 7 Javid checked to J.C. who took the free card. The turn was a 4 and again, the two players checked. The river was the 5 , putting a straight on the board and this time Javid put J.C. all-in and J.C. made the call. Javid mucked his hand when he saw the K 8 of J.C. who turned his 8,900 in to over 19k.

Thursday, 09th of August 2007 07:45 PM

Thomas Hover got to see a flop of 5 J 9 and made it 3,500 to go. His oppoent moved all-in and got the insta-call. Thomas had K-Jo and his opponent held K Q for the flopped flush. The turn was a 3 for overkill and Thomas is out in 17th.

Thursday, 09th of August 2007 07:17 PM

The cards are in the air for day 2. The blinds are at 400-800 with a 100 ante. Joe Sebok has come in very relaxed and ready to win. Joe is in seat 5 with the chipleader, Javid sitting in seat 4.

On the first hand Joe made a raise in middle position and Joe schmidt moved all-in. Joe Sebok called and held pocket K's and Joe had the pocket 9's. The flop was Q-J-10, leaving a few outs for Joe. The turn was an A and that did it for joe Schmidt.

Javid Javani has ended the first day with the chiplead. That doesn't mean he's in the clear. 17 other players are still in and hoping to chop away at Javid's stack including Joe Sebok who's relaxed exterior only masks the killer instinct he's known for. J.C. Tran is also in the hunt for the championship, the first prize money, and the seat to the main event at The Legends of Poker that could be worth millions. Catch every raise, flop, all-in and bluff right here at Pokerpages.com! The action will resume at 7:15 p.m.
