The remaining 3 players have settled on a chop and our winner is Nick Hanna who earned $17,060.
Second goes to Iceman who earned $10,040.
Third goes to Jason Tolpin who earned $5,240.
Tuesday, 12th of June 2007 02:42 AM On the button, Ray Hariri made it 18k which is half his stack. Nick Hanna announced, "All you can eat," and Ray obliges. Ray has Q 9 and Hanna holds big slick. The board reads 10 3 4 2 J and Hanna scoops the pot and takes the lead. Ray Hariri finished 4th earning $3,055.
Tuesday, 12th of June 2007 02:28 AM Blinds are up to 3k-6k with a 1k ante. Tuesday, 12th of June 2007 02:25 AM Paul Kuchinski made his move on a flop of 3
Tuesday, 12th of June 2007 02:12 AM Jack Boghossian just got busted on a nasty hand. He re-raised Jason Tolpin with the rest of his chips and Jason called showing Q J. Jack was way ahead with A J and the flop came 10 9 5. The turn was a 7, giving Jason the extra out with an 8. Guess what shows? an 8 on the river and Jack Boghossian is out in 6th earning $1,965.
Tuesday, 12th of June 2007 02:10 AM The man only known as Icman, raised on the button with Mario Rivas in the big blind. Mario makes a move all in for an extra 26k. Iceman tanks for a minute and makes the call only to see he's ahead with A
Tuesday, 12th of June 2007 01:51 AM Marisol Banuelos just got crippled. She commited 80% of her stack against the shorter stack of Ray Hariri who had J J to Marisol's A 10. The board was 10 6 3 3 9 and Marisol was left with 10k. Marisol had to commit 3k to the big blind and Tamara Bostrom moved all in. Nick Hanna decided to move in too and we have a three way race with Marisol holding K J, Tamara Bostrom holding A 7, and Nick held A Q. The flop gave hope to Marisol with 10 3 K, but the turn was the nail in the coffin for the two ladies. The J gave Nick the straight and Marisol Banuelos finished 9th earning $875.
Tamara Bostrom finished 8th earning $1,090.
Tuesday, 12th of June 2007 01:23 AM The players have raced off the black chips and are back to the table with blinds at 1,500-3k, antes are at 500. Tuesday, 12th of June 2007 01:06 AM The remaining player's stacks look like this:
Tuesday, 12th of June 2007 01:00 AM Our 10th place finisher was taken out by the king's of Nick Hanna and we are down to one table. The players are getting situated. Tuesday, 12th of June 2007 12:14 AM 2 hands after the break, Jack Bogosian got his money in against two other players. The two players held pocket 8's and pocket 7's, while Jack had the Jack's. The board read 2 5 10 K K and Jack sent home two players. Right after Jack put 2 down, Jason Tolpin pushed his opponent all in o a flop of 9 4 2. His opponent called showing the Q J and Jason held 9 6. The turn was a 6, killing his opponent and we are now down to 11 players. 2 away from the money. Tuesday, 12th of June 2007 12:01 AM The players have returned from their break and the blinds are up to 800-1,600 with a 200 ante. Jason Tolpin has improved his stack to 75k and is still in the lead. Several players are trying to play catch up including Tamra Bostrom who has 45k. Monday, 11th of June 2007 11:36 PM Tamra Bostrom just put her stack in against two other players. The first player was trying to bluff and had 3 5. The second player had A J, and Tamra had the rockets. The board read 9 Q J 4 K and Tamra took out the two slightly smaller stacks and she's up to 30k.
Monday, 11th of June 2007 11:24 PM Blinds are 600-1,200 with a 200 ante. I didn't see the action unfold, but I did see Nick Hanna with an A Q in front of him and his opponent had pocket Queens. The board read K 9 A K 3. Nick doubled up to around 45k.
Monday, 11th of June 2007 11:15 PM Jason Tolpin has lost about 7k of his stack, but only from the normal blinds and antes. He's grown quite restless in the past 20 minutes or so. Monday, 11th of June 2007 10:50 PM Mo Fathipour just got busted when he moved all in against the BB on the river. The BB flipped up K K and Mo mucked and walked out. Monday, 11th of June 2007 10:40 PM Not too many people at table 17 were happy to see that the chip leader, Jason Tolpin came to their table after his was broken down. We are at 4 tables with 28 people left in the tournament. The play is slowing down a bit with everyone holding a decent stack.
Monday, 11th of June 2007 10:21 PM Blinds are at 300-600 with a 100 ante. The chip leader by a landslide right now is Jason Tolpin with 50k. Monday, 11th of June 2007 10:14 PM "Hollywood" Tony Kayden must have some e.s.p. or something. While the dealer is shuffling up, Tony stands up and announces that he feels that this hand would be his all in hand. He sits down and has a player raise it up. He peeks down at the pocket Queens and announces he's all in. The rest of the table folds to the initial raise and he calls, showing A K. The flop is good for tony...7 Monday, 11th of June 2007 09:42 PM Blinds are up to 200-400 with a 75 ante. Mo Fathipour is still in. I haven't mentioned him before now because of the nature in which he came in. He got here in the third round and immediately moved all in with A K and his oponent had the same hand. Chop pot! Then, they moved him to a new table and he was there for about 15 minutes before he was moved AGAIN! Monday, 11th of June 2007 09:22 PM We are down to roughly 45 players with 5 tables still running. The mood has changed a bit in the past 30 or so minutes, from a jovial bunch to an almost cut throat group. I'm near Hollywood, so we probably have some aspiring actors that could get a good job in town. Monday, 11th of June 2007 09:09 PM The talk at the tables are all to do with Phil Hellmuth winning his 11th bracelet. He now stands alone atop the bracelet race. Monday, 11th of June 2007 08:56 PM Eddy Choi is doing the best. He currently holds on to a 20k stack, roughly.
Monday, 11th of June 2007 08:40 PM The ever important payouts:
Blinds are at 100-200 with 25 antes. Monday, 11th of June 2007 08:30 PM The players are on a ten minute sprint to their respective needs. Monday, 11th of June 2007 08:24 PM I just noticed that Paramjit Gill is in the tournament and doing ok. Mike Hauptman is out of the tournament. No luck for him today. Monday, 11th of June 2007 07:30 PM Blinds are up to 50-100 and we have 89 players in the event. Monday, 11th of June 2007 07:20 PM So far, I see "Hollywood" Tony Kayden, James Carroll and one other player who has had some success in the past week or so. Mike Hauptman won event #13 which was a pot limit hold'em tourney. He then Parlayed his money into the WSOP pot limit hold'em event and came in 12th and cashed $21,512! He hopes to keep up the success!
Monday, 11th of June 2007 07:07 PM I love no limit! We just lost our first player of the tournament. We must have a chip leader, so I'll keep up with his prgress over the next couple of minutes. Monday, 11th of June 2007 07:01 PM Cards are flying around at every table. The blinds are at 25-50 and will go up every 30 minutes. Monday, 11th of June 2007 06:53 PM Welcome to tonight's no limit hold'em tourney whith a buy-in of $545. The tournament will start in just a few minutes and everyone is getting ready for the action. |
