Friday, 01st of June 2007 03:56 PM

Before the flop Greenstein bet 50k which Hamby called.  The flop came with K 7 5 .  Greenstein bet another 70k and Hamby again called without much deliberation.  The turn brought another King.  After Greenstein bet 130k, Hamby went all in.  Greenstein folded quickly.  That's the second huge pot Hamby's taken from Greenstein today.

Friday, 01st of June 2007 03:42 PM

Jared Hamby takes down Juan Carlos Alvarado!  With 7 J K on the board JC bet 50k, Jared called.  The turn brought J.  JC went all in and without too much deliberation Hamby called with J-K.  JC flipped over 7 9  for the flush draw.  When the river dropped a J , Hamby won.

Juan Carlos Alvarado

Friday, 01st of June 2007 03:28 PM

Play has slowed considerably as each player struggles to hold on until the televised event tomorrow.  With no player severely short stacked this could continue for awhile.  But then again, every time it seems that nothing exciting is going to happen, someone pushes all in.

Friday, 01st of June 2007 03:25 PM

Rasmussen bet 50k before the flop and was called by Wong.  The board came up J 9 5 J 5 .  Wong bet 82k, Rasmussen called.  Wong showed pocket sevens and took the pot without Rasmussen exposing his hand.

Friday, 01st of June 2007 03:15 PM

With a flop of K 8 3 , JC Alvarado bet 60k, Buchanan called.  They checked to the end.  With the turn and river showing 2 4 they checked again.  Buchanan flipped over a K-Q, Alvarado turned in his cards.  Buchanan continues gaining chips.

Friday, 01st of June 2007 03:05 PM

Wong continues his forward leaning play.  He's taken several pots with hard bets that have scared off the competition.

Friday, 01st of June 2007 02:51 PM

Wong pushes forward with a 74K bet after the flop of A 4 5.  Rasmussen called.  Fourth street brought a 7.  Wong put 150K in, but Rasmussen folded.

Friday, 01st of June 2007 01:54 PM

After a flop of K 3 8, Jared Hamby bet 42K.  Greenstein raised 158K then Hamby pushed all in.  Greenstein gave it a little bit of thought before folding.  So far today Hamby is continuing his aggressive style.  Maybe Greenstein was trying to take advantage.  Either way, Hamby's confidence prevails.

Friday, 01st of June 2007 01:30 PM

Lots of cautious play, not much action.  Levi has increased his short stack quite a bit by going all in before the flop several times, forcing his opponents to fold.
