HUH53: Danny raised 70K and John called. Flop was T 4 5; John checked, Danny bet 70K, John raised another 200K; Danny popped it again 425K and John moved all-in. Danny called, showing pocket 4s for the set. John held 76 for the open-ended straight draw. Turn was another Ten and Danny made the full house -- John was drawing dead. The stacks were close and we had to wait for them to be counted down. And it is OVER! Danny had John covered. Danny (Mehrdad) Yousefzadeh finished in 1st place, earning $488,828, a $10,000 seat at the 2007 WSOP Main Event (with $1,000 travel expense money) and the gold and diamond WSOP Circuit Championship ring. Hand 164: Eugene completed the small and Danny checked his option. Flop was 5 5 6. Eugene bet 30K; Danny raised another 40K; Eugene moved all in and Danny called. Eugene's Q6 (two pair) was trailing Danny's 95 (trips). Last two cards were K 2 and Danny took the pot, sending Eugene to the rail. Eugene Fouksman finished in 3rd place, earning $137,484. Clock is paused as they color up some chips and prepare for heads-up play. Eugene asked for a count, but before it was ready, said 'I call' and showed AQ off. Danny's A8 off was badly dominated, but the board came J 8 2 9 4 and Danny caught the 3-outer to double up with the pair of 8s. He's now got about 1.4 million and Eugene is down to about 350K.
