Seat 1:              Jerry Renfroe
Hometown:       San Luis Obispo, CA
Chip Count:       19,000
Jerry Renfroe is a 40-year-old self-employed poker player from San Luis Obispo, CA.  To date, his biggest cash was second place at the World Series of Poker Circuit championship event held at Harvey’s Lake Tahoe, last year.  Today he arrives with the biggest challenge of anyone as he arrives as the lowest stack at this final table.

Seat 2:              Shane ‘Shaniac’ Schleger
Hometown:       New York, NY
Chip Count:       205,500
Shane ‘Shaniac’ Schleger is originally from New York City.  He now lives in Santa Monica, CA.  He is a 29-year-old professional gambler.  He came into poker after working actively in the game of craps.  He wrote about his gambling experiences at his daily blog, which can now be found online.  Shane won $215,000 recently at a poker tournament held at the Commerce Casino, in Los Angeles.

Seat 3:              Danny Wong
Hometown:       Walnut, CA
Chip Count:       244,500
Danny Wong is a 22-year-old professional poker player from Walnut, CA.  Last year, he won a major tournament at the Bellagio and was second in the main event at that same tournament.  He originally set out to be a stock broker, but he finds it more profitable now to invest in himself as a poker player.

Seat 4:              Gavin Griffin
Hometown:       Orange, CA
Chip Count:       390,500
Gavin Griffin is a pro poker player from Orange County, CA.  He won a bracelet at the 2004 World Series of Poker and at the time was the youngest event winner in the history of the WSOP.  Gavin originally set out to be a professional baseball player and would probably be in the minor leagues (at least) had he chosen a different college than the one he attended.  Instead, he arrives today with major league money, ranked second in the chip count.

Seat 5:              Erik Cajelais
Hometown:       Montreal, Quebec (Canada)
Chip Count:       270,500
Erik Cajelais is a pro poker player from Montreal.  He won a $5,000 buy-in event at the Bellagio in Las Vegas last year. He is now seeking his first major tournament victory and arrives today slightly better than average in chips.

Seat 6:              Peter 'Nordberg' Feldman
Hometown:       Harper Woods, MI
Chip Count:       444,000
Peter Feldman is a poker professional from Harper Woods, MI.  He won the $10,000 buy-in championship event at Harrah’s New Orleans in 2006.  Should he win today, he would join Chris "Jesus" Ferguson as the only two-time main event winner on the World Series of Poker Circuit.  He is well on his way to making history as the current chip leader.

Seat 7:              Davidson Matthew
Hometown:       Toronto, Ontario (Canada)
Chip Count:       119,500
Davidson is a 47-year-old poker pro from Toronto.  He has several impressive finishes on his tournament resume, including second place in the $25,000 buy-in WPT Championship event at the Bellagio last year.  He was also 10th at the most recent championship event at the Borgata, in Atlantic City.

Seat 8:              Gavin Smith
Hometown:       Las Vegas, NV
Chip Count:       71,000
Gavin Smith is the class clown and court jester of the poker world.  He has rocketed up from oblivion in the wilderness of Canada to poker superstardom.  The 38-year-old man-child now lives in Las Vegas.  He was the 2005 Player of the Year in tournament poker, due to several high finishes and cashes -- including first-place at the Mirage in Las Vegas where he won a million dollars.  He also finished second to Peter Feldman – sitting in Seat 6 -- at last year’s Harrah’s New Orleans WSOP Circuit Champsionship.  Gavin has quite an obstacle to overcome today, as he arrives seventh in the chip count.

Seat 9:              Yoon Kim
Hometown:       Milwaukee, WI
Chip Count:       45,500
Yoon Kim is a 39-year-old real estate agent from Milwaukee, WI.  In fact, he was the top realtor in Milwaukee over the last three years.  So, if anyone wants to buy a home in Milwaukee, Yoon is the man to see.  He has a number of final table appearances since he has started playing tournament poker.  This would be his biggest cash ever, should he win today.  But as the eighth-ranked player in chips, he will have to play the best poker of his life.
