Robert (Bobby) Thompson - 7th place

Daniel and Bobby took a flop of J J 8. Robert bet 100K and Daniel called. Turn was a 3 and Bobby moved all-in. Daniel called, showing QJ for trips. Bobby held KQ and was drawing dead and was left with only 12K.

Bobby got his last chips in with A8 against Young Cho's AT. Board came A 8 3 T 6 and Young made a better two-pair to take the pot.

Robert (Bobby) Thompson finished in 7th place, earning $114,218.

JC Tran completed the small blind and Brian moved all in from the big. After a couple of minutes of thought, JC called, showing pocket 4s. He was ahead of Brian's AT offsuit, but the board came 7 Q K J giving Brian the straight (river was irrelevant as JC was drawing dead). Brian doubled up to about 280K.

Young raised to 60K from the small blind and Daniel called from the big. Flop was 5 2 T rainbow. Young bet 100K and Daniel called. Turn was 4 . Young eyeballed Daniel's stack, then fired another 100K. Daniel folded. Young extended his chip lead.

Daniel made it 40K to go and Matt moved all in, then Gary moved all in. Daniel threw away his pocket Tens. Matt held K6 offsuit; Gary was way out in front with pocket Aces. Board came 2 2 Q

Matt Russell of Houston, TX,  finished in 8th place, earning $85,686.

After a raise from Bobby, Catfish moved all in. Bobby called, showing KJ offsuit; Catfish held KT suited and was in bad shape. Board came 5 2 3 J 9 and Bobby took the pot.

James 'Catfish' Bullard finished in 9th place, earning $57,124.

Young raised 30K from the button and Daniel called from the small blind. Flop was 2 4 5 rainbow. Young bet 50K and Daniel called. Turn was an 8 and both checked. River was a 3 and Daniel checked, Young bet 60K and Daniel called, showing AT for the wheel (straight to the 5) and that took the pot.

After a raise from Brian, Bobby moved all in. Brian called, showing AK off. Bobby was ahead with pocket 9s. Board came J 4 2 8 7 and Bobby doubled up to over 600K.

Brian Sumner raised to 50K and Matt Russell moved all in. After a few moments, Brian called, showing A K . Matt showed A K and the result was a split pot.

To say the pace of play has slowed would be an understatement. It was more than two and a half hours between the 11th place exit and the 10th place exit. There are no critically short stacks (less than 10x the big blind) so this could take a while.

Jeremy Tinsley - 10th place

Jeremy got his last chips in and was called by both blinds: Young Cho and Daniel Negreanu. Flop was A Q 7 and Young bet; Daniel folded and Young showed A8 for top pair. Jeremy held KJ and was in bad shape. Last two cards were 4 5 and Jeremy was done.

Jeremy Tinsley finished in 10th place, earning $34,274.

On the river with the board showing J 8 4 3 3, Jeremy Tinsley checked and Daniel Negreanu moved all-in. After a couple minutes consideration, Jeremy called, showing pocket Kings. Daniel rolled over pocket 8s for the full house (8s full of 3s) and took down the monster pot of about 800K.

Matt Russell, JC Tran, and Catfish Bullard see the flop for a raise: 3 4 7. Matt moved all in for 82K and got called by Catfish. Matt held A5 for the double gutshot (needing a deuce or 6) and overcard. Catfish was ahead with pocket 8s. Turn was the 6, however, completing Matt's straight and he tripled up to about 400K.

After Daniel raised, JC Tran re-raised from the button, and Brian Sumner moved all-in from the small blind. Daniel folded and JC called, showing two black Queens. Brian held AK offsuit and needed help to survive. Board came 8 J 5 A K and Brian got the help he needed and doubled up to about 660K.

On a flop of Q J 6 , Bobby Thompson bet 100K, Jeremy Tinsley moved all in and Bobby called, showing 8 7 for the flush draw. Jeremy held the two red Aces and the lead. Last two cards were K T giving Jeremy a straight and the double-up.

Three players took the flop of 5 8 9 . Young Cho bet 50K; Matt Russell folded, and Kido Pham check-raised another 200K. After a bit of thought, Young moved all in. Kido folded, surrendering the large pot. Young showed 8 3 for middle pair.

With the board showing A 7 3 2 6, Gary Kainer moved in and was called quickly by Bobby Tohmpson. Gary showed pocket 7s for the set and Bobby mucked his hand. Gary doubled up to over 600K.
