Isaac Haxton - 2nd place

End of level.  Blinds are now 150K/300K with 30K antes.  Play continues with 30 minute levels.

HUH 23:  Ryan moved all in and Isaac called.  Ryan showed AT off and Isaac held Q8 off.  Board came J 6 5 9 5 and Ryan wins with Ace-high kicker to the pair of 5s on the board!

Ryan Daut finished in 1st place, earning $1,535,255 and a $25,500 seat to the WPT Season 5 Championship.

Isaac Haxton finished in 2nd place, earning $861,789.

Ryan is a 22 year old cash player from New Jersey and Isaac is a 21 year old cash game player from Boston.  This is the first major tournament cash for both.

HUH15: They take the flop for the minimum: 7 9 5 . Isaac bet 400K and Ryan called. Turn wsa Q . Isaac checked, Ryan bet 1.2 million, and Isaac called. River was A ; Isaac checked, Ryan bet 2.5 million. Isaac thought, then said "call". Ryan showed Q5 off for two pair and Isaac mucked. Ryan dragged another huge pot and extended his lead.

HUH17: Ryan called and Isaac raised it 400K more. Ryan called. Flop was 4 4 3 . Isaac bet 800K; Ryan moved all-in and Isaac folded. Ryan showed K6 off for King-high.

HUH13: Isaac called the small and Ryan checked. Flop was J 2 5 . Ryan checked, Isaac bet 250K, and Ryan called. Turn was 3 . Again Ryan checked, Isaac bet 800K, and Ryan called. River was K and again Ryan checked. Isaac moved all in. Ryan asked for a count, (5.675m) thought about it, then folded.

With that pot, Ryan has about 10 million to Isaac's 8 million.

Heads Up Hand 8: On the river the board reads Q 4 A K Q . Isaac bet 700K, Ryan pushed it up to 2 million, and then Isaac moved all-in. After a few moments, Ryan folded. Isaac tossed his 3 2 (zip, nada, squa-doosh) onto the felt face up as he reached for his chips.

HUH9: Isaac made it 500K to go and Ryan raised another 1.3 million. Isaac called. Flop was A Q 7 . Ryan bet 2.1 million and Isaac called. Turn was 8 and both checked. River was J and Ryan checked. Isaac paused, then checked behind. Ryan showed pocket Jacks for the set and Isaac mucked. Ryan increased his chip lead with a huge pot.

On hand 4 heads up, Ryan raised to 500K and Isaac came over the top another 1.75million. Ryan folded. On the next hand, Ryan completed the small blind and again folded when Isaac came over the top. One the next hand, Ryan opened for 500K, Isaac again popped it another 1.75 million. This time Ryan moved in and Isaac folded.

Hand 111 (heads up hand 3): For the first time in two days, Isaac is no longer the chip leader.

Isaac limped on the button and Ryan popped it to 750K, which Isaac called. Flop was 3 8 6 . Ryan lead with 1 million and Isaac moved all-in. Ryan called, showing A 7 for the nut flush draw and Ace-high. Isaac held T 7 and is trailing, with a gutshot straight draw. Turn was 4 ; river was A and Ryan doubled up to become the chip leader.

Robert John Ford - 3rd place

Blinds are now 100K/200K with 20K antes.

Hand 107: John is all-in for the small blind. Isaac raised to 550K and Ryan folded. John held A8 suited and Isaac showed K 3 off. Board came Q 3 7 K and the river was irrelevant as John was drawing dead.

Robert John Ford finished in 3rd place, earning $550,980.

Robert, or John, qualified for this event for $175. Not a bad return on his investment. He's 22, hails from Johnstown, PA, and considers himself a professional player.

Hand 106: Ryan made it 350K, then John moved all in. Ryan called, showing pocket Kings. John held pocket 2s. They had to count the stacks and John has Ryan covered by a couple-hundred thousand. Board came 5 9 8 4 5 and Ryan doubled up, crippling John to less than 100K.

Short break for color up of the 5K chips.

Hand 94: Isaac called from the small blind and John checked his option. Flop was K 7 2 rainbow and both checked. Turn was an Ace and Isaac bet 200K, which John called. River was a 3 and Isaac bet 300K. Again John called. Isaac showed K5 for a pair of Kings and John mucked.

Robert Mizrachi - 4th place

Hand 83: There was a short break, then on the first hand back, Isaac raised and Robert Mizrachi called from the big bling. Flop was T 3 3 and both checked. Turn was J and Robert fired 400K, which Isaac called. River was the 8 and Robert checked. Isaac said all in and after about half a minute, Robert called. Isaac showed Q9 for the straight. Robert seemed stunned as he sat there for a minute, then mucked his hand. That hand put isaac at about 12 million chips.

Robert Mizrachi finished in 4th place, earning $409,703.

Robert hails from Sunny Isles Beach, FL, and is one of three Mizrachi brothers who are all professional poker players. Robert has earnings over $1.2 million, not counting todays cash.

Jonathan Little - 5th place

Somewhere around hand 81: Robert Mizrachi made it 325K to go and Jonathan moved all in. Robert called, showing AK off suit. Jonathan rolled over pocket Jacks and it was off to the races. Robert was covered, so he needed help to survive. Board came T 2 6 8 A and that Ace on the river gave Robert new life and about 2.4 million chips.

On the next hand, Jonathan moved all in for 315K with A Q and got called by Ryan, who held K 6 . Flop was A Q 6 and it looked like Jonathan was doubling up. Turn was the T giving Ryan more outs. He needed a 6 or a Jack that isn't a club. River was the 6 and Ryan took the pot with trip 6s.

Jonathan Little finished in 5th place, earning $317,873.

Jonathan is a 22 year old professional poker player from Pensacola, FL.

Somewhere around hand 73: We got all excited because Jonathan moved all in and then (after asking for a count) Isaac called. But then they both turned over KQ offsuit and it was a split pot.

End of level and blinds are now 80K/160K with 15K antes.

Frank Rusnak - 6th place

Hand 59: John Ford raised to 280K and Frank called. Flop was 9 J 9 . John moved all in and Frank called, showing pocket Kings. John showed AK offsuit and was in bad shape, needing an Ace or two runners. It appeared Frank was set to double up when the turn came 3 , but the river was the A to give John a bigger pair and the pot and send Frank to the rail.

Frank Rusnak finished in 6th place, earning $247,234.

Frank is a 25 year old from Chicago, IL, who writes for the Chicago Sun-Times.
