Jimmy Frick got all in with AK and was called by Jonathan Little who held pocket 3s. Jimmy got no help from the board and was busted.

The plan was to finish play when 18 players remained,. but in a crazy finish, three players busted out on the last hand and we are left with only 16 players to return tomorrow.

Play resumed after the redraw.  Robert Mizrachi took down a big pot when his A9 rivered a full house and that put him over 1.5 million.  Jimmy Frick ran his pocket 9s into an AQ which turned into trip Queens and Jimmy was crippled down to about 70K. 

They finished the level and took a break, so I got these chips counts for most of the players:

Jimmy Frick moved all in from the middle and got called by Robert Mizrachi who was in the small blind with AK off. Jimmy held Q7 offsuit. Board came 7 2 A 7 3 and Jimmy doubled up with trip 7s, to about 150K.

With the board showing 9 J 6 5 2 Isaac Haxton checked and Jonathan Drane moved all in for a bit over 500K. After a couple minutes thought, Isaac called. Jonathan said "good call" and Isaac showed J9 off for a pair of Jacks. Jonathan mucked his hand and headed for the rail in 32nd place. Isaac is now at about 2 million chips.

On a flop of 6 8 3 , Jimmy Frick bet 55K, Antonio Ribiero pumped it up another 115K, and Jimmy moved in. After a little thought, Antonio mucked his pocket Jacks face up - he did not have the .

David Sykes moved in over the top of Robert Mizrachi's open raise. Robert called, showing pocket Queens. David held A 8 . Board came 6 8 4 6 2 and David was busted. Robert is now up to about 1 million chips.

27 players remain and they are now redrawing for seats at the final 3 tables.

Jimmy Fricke raised it up and got called by Isaac Haxton.  Flop was J 6 2 rainbow and Jimmy checked; Isaac fired 65K and Jimmy moved in for about 240K more.  Isaac called, showing pocket 8s,  but Jimmy held KJ for the pair of Jacks.  No help for Isaac and Jimmy doubled up.

After an open for 30K, Isaac Haxton made it 90K to go. Ted Lawson moved in for another 195K and Isaac called, showing AQ off. Ted had the lead with AK off, but four hearts hit the board and Isaac held the A for the nut flush. Ted was busted.

Scott Clements got all in against Kin Kwan on the turn with the baord showing T 8 6 4. Scott held 7 5 suited for the straight and was leading Kin's pocket 8s for the set, but the river was another Ten, giving Kin the full house and the double up to about 540K.

On the river with the board showing 4 2 T J 8, Scott (small blind) checked to Jimmy Frick, who fired 55K. After a few moments, Scott called. Jimmy announced "Ace high" and Scott showed 98 for a pair of 8s and he dragged the pot.

Michael Binger got all in with pocket Queens, but Erik Riise held pocket Kings. To add salt to the wound, the river was another King. Michael was busted in 41st place.

Just before the break, Aaron Kanter got all in with AJ against Michael Binger's AK.  The board changed nothing and Aaron was busted.

Isaac Haxton, chip leader, and Nenad Medic, busted

Isaac Haxton raised, Nenad Medic re-raised, Isaac moved in and Nenad called, showing AK. Isaac held pocket 9s and the lead. No help for Nenad on the board and he was busted. That pot put Isaac over the 1 million chip mark.

Maxx Brawer doubled through Justin Bonomo when he caught an Ace on the river to go with his AT and crack Justin's pocket Kings. Maxx is now at about 330K.

Scott Clements fired 35K at the pot on the flop of Q 6 2 and Nenad Medic moved in. Scott mucked and Nenad showed pocket Queens for top set.

The last woman remaining in this event, Anne Marie James, has busted out in 61st place.

Curtis Householder got all in with KQ against Steve Paul-Ambrose who held A2. Steve caught an Ace and that was all it took to send Curtis packing in 58th place.

Abdul Fayedi moved in with KJ offsuit and ran smack into the pocket Aces of Scott Clements. No help for Abdul and he was busted. Scott has vaulted into the chip lead with over 1 million chips.

On a flop of 8 7 2 rainbow, Glen Bean fired 28K at the pot and Jonathan Drane came over the top for another 63K. Glen moved in and Jonathan called immediately. Glen's pocket Tens were in bad shape -- Jonathan held pocket deuces for the set. No help for Glen and he was busted.

Just before the break, with T K 4 8  on the board, Jimmy Frick (big blind) bet 20K and Don Carlton came over the top for another 55K.  After a few moments thought, Jimmy moved all in.  Now it was Don's turn to think, and he eventually mucked his hand.  Jimmy showed J9 for nothing but an open-ended draw and said "Don't mess with my blinds".

Action continues, fast and furious!

Justin Bonomo came over the top of a 22K opener and made it 60K straight. His opponent moved in and Justin called, showing AK. He had the other player's KQ dominated and the board did not change that. His opponent headed for the payout table and Justin is now sitting behind about 700K in chips.

Barry Shulman is on a roller coaster ride today! He got all-in with pocket Kings against T9 and was crippled when the board came Q 9 4 9 8 giving his opponent trips. Then with only about 40K left, he got all in with pocket Queens against pocket 3s. This time the best hand held up and he doubled up to about 90K.

Wasting no time, Michael Binger got all in on the first hand today. His KQ suited was trailing his caller's pocket 7s, but he caught a Queen on the river to double up to about 100K.

John Phan moved his last chips in under the gun. Barry Shulman called him from the small blind, showing AQ off. John held QJ suited and was in bad shape. John got no help from the board, which was 8 7 5 K 9 and he was busted.
