It appears that the end of Day 2 chip leader is Justin Bonomo, with about 475K. Defending champion Steve Paul-Ambrose is second with about 410K.

Play has ended for today at the end of level 12. 121 players remain and they are counting and bagging their chips now. I'll get the list posted here as soon as I get it, which will probably be tomorrow.

Busted:

The money jumped at 130th place. Daniel Negreanu got all in with KQ off and ran into the pocket Aces of Victor Ramdin. The Aces held and Daniel was out in 131st place. Here are the rest of today's bust-outs:

A lot has happened since the bubble burst, so this is going to be a long update!

Play resumed in level 11 and these folks busted out before the end of the level:

David Williams got all in with pocket 4s against AT and the 4s held up.

Michael Binger got all in with A9 against pocket 9s and caught an Ace on the river to double through.

Then they took a break and proceeded into level 12: Blinds 1,500/3,000 with 400 antes. This will be the last level of the day.

Early in level 12, Michael Farris got all in with AK suited against a short-stack who held pocket Jacks. The Jacks held up and Michael was left short-stacked. He busted out shortly after that.

	Max Greenwood - Bubble Boy

The bubble has burst and the clock is paused with 180 players remaining as they break the 19th table and move those players.

Team PokerStars player Tom McEvoy busted out in 182nd place.

Max Greenwood, who started today with only 10,200 chips, survived five hours of play, only to end up getting his last chips in with AQ. He got called by a player with pocket 9s, which held up and Max becomes today's bubble boy, finishing in 181st place.

Level 11: Blinds 1,200/2,400 with 300 antes. Play has resumed. They are down to 19 tables and will hit the money shortly (180 get paid). During the break, these were the chip leaders:

Before the break, Pavel Feldman sent a player to the rail when his pocket 7s held up against the short-stack's A8. Board was 4 K 5 5 5.

Recent departures: Fred Goldberg and Jason 'BigBird' Sagle.

Victor Ramdin is well known for his willingness to put all his chips in play at any time. He's been riding a short stack all day today, however, and has managed to nurse that stack along, waiting for the right opportunity. Which just came knocking on his door: Victor made it 6K from late and the big blind just called. Flop was 6 6 5 and the big blind checked it to Victor, who fired 12K. His opponent came over the top for 55K total and Victor wasted no time getting all his chips in. The pocket Aces were no match for Victor's J6 (suited) for trips. No help on the board and Victor drags the pot, sending the other play to the rail (or the beach). Victor is now up over 100K.

David Williams was crippled down to about 20K, then doubled up and is back over 45K.

Level 10: Blinds 1K/2K with 300 antes. Play has resumed. About 230 players still in the hunt. 180 of these will get paid.

It appears defending champ Steve Paul-Ambrose has leaped into the chip lead with about 275K. David Williams is sitting on about 180K.

Michael "the Grinder" Mizrachi" busted out on the first hand back from the break when his pocket Kings fall to another player's KQ who makes a four-flush on the board.

After a raise and call, Daniel Dengreanu moved his 50K all in. Everyone folded and Daniel dragged the pot, showing AK suited.

David Williams has delivered the coup de grace to Vanessa Rousso, sending her to the rail (or maybe out to the beach to cach some rays).

Barry Shulman fired 20K at the turn with top pair and nut flush draw, but his opponent moved all in for 50K more, putting Barry to the test. Barry eventually mucked, showing his hand, and his opponent showed the made second-nut-flush.

	David Paredes - Chip leader

Level 9: Blinds 800/1,600 with 200 antes. Play has resumed. 29 tables remain, so fewer than 290 players. Here's the leaderboard with counts from the break:

Just before the end of level 8, Spiro Mitrokostas moved in on a flop of 2 5 8 . After a few minutes of thought, his opponent called, showing 9 9 for the overpair. Spiro showed pocket Aces. Last two cards were running 7s and Spiro doubled up to about 100K.

With a board showing K 8 2 A, David Williams fired 20K at the 60K pot. Vanessa Rousso went into the tank, and finally mucked, surrendering a lot of chips to David, who showed KQ off for a pair of Kings.

With a lot of chips in the pot and a board showing K Q J 9 x, Shannon Shorr surrenders and mucks his pocket Aces face up. Mike Carlson drags the pot and shows his QT for the straight. Good laydown, Shannon.

Meanwhile, across the room, Barry Shulman's pocket Aces hold up and now he's cruising with about 180K.

The weather outside must be nice today because the players seem to be in a rush to get out of the tournament! They are down to 32 tables, so fewer than 320 players remain of the 444 that started just 2 hours ago.

Joe Pelton got his last chips in with 76 suited against Tim West's pocket Tens. Although he caught a 6 on the flop, he got no additional help and Joe was busted.

Jason Seitz moved his last 8,100 in and then Jason 'BigBird' Sagle moved in over the top. All folded and it was off to the Jason-races: Seitz held pocket 8s and Sagle held AQ off. Board came 5 K 7 T 3 and Seitz doubled up.

Unfortunately, it appears that Jaydo33 did not survive the first level of play today.

Level 8: Blinds 600/1,200 with 200 antes. Play has resumed. And now, what you have all been waiting for! The payouts!

There were a total of 937 players -- a record for a World Poker Tour televised event, as far as the number of players. The total prize pool is $7,308,600. In addition to the $1.5 million, the winner also receives a $25,500 entry to the WPT Season 5 Championship at Bellagio in April, 2007.

The action has been fast and furious during the first round today, which is coming to a close. Here are some highlights:

Tony Cousineau was crippled down to about 3K chips late yesterday, but went on a rush and ended the day with over 53K. Now today he has already increased his stack again when a short stack makes a stand with A9 and Tony's pocket Kings holdup. Tony's up to about 85K now.

Nam Le made his stand with AK only to run into pocket Queens. No help for Nam and he was busted. Barry Greenstein who started today in bad shape, has also been elilminated. Laura Fink found pocket Kings, but ran into pocket Aces and she has also busted.

Level 7: Blinds 500/1,000 with 100 antes. Day 2 has kicked off with the remaining 444 players:
