Tuesday, 17th of October 2006 08:39 PM Play has haulted for a moment. The floor is instructing dealers to deal a final set number of hands for the night. Once they have played the final six hands, players will be done for the night. Play will resume tomorrow at noon pacific. They will play five more levels tomorrow, starting at the 1,500-3,000/400 level.
Tuesday, 17th of October 2006 08:29 PM Jennifer Harman is check-raised on a flop of A 7 9 . She finally makes the call for all of her remaining chips. Her opponent shows pocket kings, which fail to improve, and Jennifer's A Q holds up. 69 players remain. We will have a full list of money finishers & official chip counts later tonight when they are made available. I'll be here for the next 23 minutes, when play haults for the night.

Tuesday, 17th of October 2006 07:51 PM Bigler triples up with pocket aces.
Tuesday, 17th of October 2006 07:41 PM Victor Ramdin calls Steve Zolotow's all in bet. Both show a flush draw on a flop of A Q 5 , but Ramdin's K 4 has Steve's T 6 high carded. The T comes on the turn and is enough to give Zolotow the pot, doubling him up in the process.

Tuesday, 17th of October 2006 06:17 PM Mike Matusow is HOT. He's fuming about the fact that every 9 players we're breaking tables and redrawing. Layne Flack suggest to Mike that everyone refuses to move and to see what Jack McLelland will do. Mike won't stop ranting about how upset he is. Then, out of nowhere, Mike literally screams "THIS IS FURIOUS, I'M F'ING PISSED, I DON'T CARE IF I GET A PENALTY!" Loi Phan 200k Jason Lester 80k Johan Storakers 220k Webber Kang 170k David Benyamine 30k John Hoang 170k Billy Baxter 25k Al Zeidenfeld 30k Chris Bigler 80k Jennifer Harman 70k Juan Carlos Mortensen 70k Joe Teehan 55k Victor Ramdin 120k Can Kim Hua 80k Alex Jacobs 220k Brandi Hawbaker 370k Erik Seidel 225k Peter "Nordberg" Feldman 50k Nick Schulman 210k Tim Phan 140k Brandon Cantu 200k Mimi Tran 115k Scott Fischman 190k As soon as I got done typing this blog entry out, Jack McLelland polled the players if they wanted to keep the rule. They all voted no (with a few exceptions). As a result now they are going to only redraw at the money changes. Soon after, players began chanting "let Mike live!" in reference to Matusow who was now serving a penalty. One of the floormen, John, came out and said "I thought Mike said he wanted a penalty?" Mike agreed "no more profanity, ever again" and was allowed back into play. I'm not quite sure Mike will hold up his end of that.

Tuesday, 17th of October 2006 05:46 PM We're in the money. 100 remain. Everyone is guaranteed at least $12,525.
Tuesday, 17th of October 2006 05:38 PM 102 players remain. 72 minutes left in this level. Play is still very slow. I'm working on getting photos from today up.
