Russ Rossenblum takes 28th for $15,714.
Chris Bell raised to 42K preflop and Russell Rossenblum took it to the felt for another 70K. Chirs gave him the call. Chris had the Kd Kh and Russ the 7c 7s. Once again, sevens let their player down and Chris removed Russ from the tournament. Mark Zand is out 29th for $15,714.
Mark Zand made his final play preflop for 45K and Shane Smith called him. Mark had the Ad 9d and Shane the Kc Ks. A king arrived, no waiting, on the flop and the set stayed pure for the take down. Vincent Devita takes 30th for $15,714.
Vincent Devita raised to 90K from the cutoff and the button, Louis Russo moved all in over the top. Devita called and showed the Td Ts. Louis had pocket gals. The queen hit the flop and no ten was to be found. Vincent is done for this event. Sunday, 17th of September 2006 03:51 PM Level 18. Blinds are 6K / 12K with a 2K ante. Kathy Liebert wasn’t throught yet and she reraised to 110K from the button. Argila moved all in to 315K and Kathy called. We have ACTION! Anthony showed the Ah As, Carmine Tirone the Ac Js and Kathy Liebert the Kc K. The board came the Td 9c 5h Ad 6s. The aces were boss, Carmine Tirone goes home and Kahty Lieber is severly damaged and down to 60K. Argila scoops up all the chips and now sits with 750K Sunday, 17th of September 2006 03:09 PM John Frampton takes 34th for $15,714 when his pocket jacks were run over by pocket tens as the board betrayed the jacks. Tom Koral takes 35th for $15,714.
Sunday, 17th of September 2006 03:06 PM Bill Blanda and Anthoansios Diakos are butting head for chip leader now with both over 1 million. Mark Zand gets it all in with pocket fours and runs smack dab into the AA held by Shane Smith. Curtains????? Hell no……the river brought the 4 and Zand lets out a cry of glee. He doubled through Shane Smith and is up to 100K. Sunday, 17th of September 2006 03:00 PM Feming Chan takes 36th for $15,714. Sunday, 17th of September 2006 02:50 PM John Phan raised preflop from the button to 25K and Shane Smith came over the to tp 50K in the big blind. John called. The flop brought the 8h 7h 2c. Checked. The turn was the innocuous 3c. John fired 29K into the middle and Shane called. The river was the Kd and that procured a check from both. John Phan showed the Ah Ts for ace high and Shane dumped his hand quickly. Dean Hamrick takes home 37th for $14,142.
Holding suited big slick, Lee Brewer made his all in attempt and ran up against Mark Newhouse who had wired tens. The board brought a third ten on the flop along with a teasing ace for Lee. The set held up and Lee Brewer takes his leave in 38th for $14,142.
Shawn Reily has been eliminated from the tournament in 39th place for $14,142. Another huge coup as Bill Blanda eliminates Chad Brown in 40th for $14,142. It was a case of pocket sevens running into pocket kings. Chad had diminished in chippage after his huge take down of chipleader Ariel Schneller. Kings were boss the whole way, and Chad goes home. Sunday, 17th of September 2006 02:16 PM Level 17. Blinds are 5K / 10K with a 1K ante. Sunday, 17th of September 2006 01:36 PM Players take a 15 minute break. Anthony showed the Ad Tc for top pair and Blaise the 8h 8d for an open ended straight draw and a pair. The turn brought the 3rd eight giving Blaise his set. At this point Anthony was drawing only to tie with a straight. The 5s on the river did him no good, and Anthony Sivolella is out 41st for $14,142.
Preflop, seat 10 limped in for the 8K and was instantly raised by Chris Bell to 29K. Athansios Diakos called that raise and Carmine Tirone couldn’t pass it up either. Seat 10 jumped in and we have action! The flop came the Ac Qh Jh. Checked to Chris Bell he fired 50K at the pot and no one wanted to play. Chris took it down and grows his tower of power to over 600K. Mark Seif is out 42rd. for $14,142. Preflop, Mark Seif moved all in for his remaining 60K and got a call from the his nemesis, Jennifer Tilly. She had the Kc Qd, again. And he the 5c 5s, almost like last time. The flop was a killer as it arrived with the Qs Qc 9c giving Tilly three of a kind. Mark has two outs…any ole five. Wasn’t happenin’…and Jennifer Tilly who crippled him, finished off the job and took Mark Seif out of the picture. Donny Ariel is eliminated 43rd for $14,142. Jeff Geiger takes 44th for $14,142. Tom Koral is out 45th for $14,142. Phillipe Rousa takes 46th for $13,095. Shane Smith limped UTG, Philippe Rousas came in with an all in move from early positon for 63K and Smith gave him the call. No queen appeared and he is out 46 Paul Guertin is out 47th for $13,095.
Manny Syragakis is out 48th place with $13,095. Hoding the K J, Manny Syragakis tried to beat Jennifer Tilly who held pocket tens. Can the overs find a home on the board? Yes. The king landed on the flop but another ten gave Jennifer a set and Manny goes home.

Vasquez went into the dance leading but when the board brought the Qd 8c 3c Ah 4c, his dance card was full and he was sent to the rail. Johnny Boy Vasquez takes 54th for $13,095.
Sunday, 17th of September 2006 01:09 PM With a raise of 24K from Chad Brown in the cutoff, Ariel Schneller called it from the button. Heads up, we saw the Qs Js 8h hit the flop. Chad checked to Ariel who fired 54K at the pot. Oops..over the top came Chad with the mighty check raise to 200K. Ariel was ready to tangle and he moved all in over Chad. Chad showed no qualm in calling. Ariel showed the Kd Tc for an open ended straight draw and Chad the As Ks for the nut slush draw and straight/straight flush draw. The turn and river were the 5d and 2d respectively and the hand was won by the silly Ace hight to take the reigning chip leader to the rail. Chad Brown is by far the leader of the pack at this time with over one million in chippage. DING DING DING DING........ring that money bell.....we have 54 left and they have all made the money. OMG.......ARIEL SCHNELLER JUST WENT OUT ON THE BUBBLE..............CHAD BROWN REDUCED HIM TO FELT! WHAT A SHOCKER....
The board read the 8s 7c 4s 2s Ah. Ofir Mor, who had maintained a mountain of chips throught day 1 and 2 was down to the felt against David Sklansky. David showed the As 7s for the nut flush and Orif, pocket fours for a set. Ofir Mor is out.
Sunday, 17th of September 2006 12:23 PM Players take a 15 minute respite and will return to Level 16. Blinds will be 4K / 8K with a 1K ante. The double throughs are rampant now. First Chris, then Louis Russo through Phil Vera, Craig Stein through Jeff Geiger and Shawn Chaconas through Rep Porter.......and Rep Porter is gone the very next hand The flop brought the Ah Ts 3h. Carmine Tirone checked and Feming Chan made it 26K to play. Chris Bell made the call. Tirone check raised to 74K. Feming Chan gave it up and Chris made the call. Heads up, the turn came the Tc. Carmine pushed all in and once again, Chris gave him the call and turned over a baby full house with the 3 3. Tirone showed the Ad Jh. He was drawing pretty thin to Chris’s boat and indeed the river brought a blank and Chris Bell doubles up to 350K and Tirone slipped down to a mere 430K….tongue in cheek. Add these names to the list that wont be back tomorrow...., Michael Lustig, Alan Colon, Steve Keger, Michael Gracz, Richard Davidson and Lou Esposito . Sunday, 17th of September 2006 11:38 AM |
