Erik Friberg limped in UTG. Mitch Schock limped as well from the small blind and Rich Lee checked his option in the big. The flop came the Tc 8h 4s. The blinds checked and Friberg takes advantage and bets 150K. Over the top came Schock to 500K. Not to be outdone, Friberg moved all in covering Schock’s stack. So much for that and the North Dakota boy folds leaving himself with only 500K. Friberg was nice enough to show the Ac Ah and takes the pot. He now has 5,500,000.

Monday, 07th of August 2006 04:50 PM

Michael Binger raised to 175K from the small blind and William Thorsson called him. The flop came the 9d 6d 5c. Binger checked to Thorsson who made it 200K to play. Binger goes along for the ride. The turn came the 2s. Binger checked again and Thorsson made a hefty 400K bet. Binger stays with him. The river came the 4d. Binger stayed with the checking and Thorsson stayed with being aggressive by firing 400K at the pot again. Here came Binger. Binger showed the Q 9 for top pair and Thorsson dumped his hand. Good read Binger. Binger is now up to over 5 million in chippage.

Kevin O’Donnell bets to 140K and Dan Nassif calls. The flop comes Qh 7d 2s and O’Donnell bets 200K. Nassif calls again, and the turn comes 3c. On the next hand Dan Nassif is against Jeff Lisandro when Nassif bets 500K before the flop. Lisandro isn’t ready to take that on, and he folds.

The hand after that, Nassif bets to 400K, before the flop, and no one accepts the challenge.
