Murray turns over 2h 2s and Gold leads with Tc Ts. The flop comes Td 5c 2c, giving both players trips, but Gold is till ahead. The turn and river bring. Qd Kd, and Gold prevails while Murray is sent to the rail, winning $164,932 prize money. Kevin Aaronson swipes some chips from Doug Kim when Kim bets to 90K, and Aaronson calls. The flop comes Jc 5s 3s coaxing a 175K bet from Aaronson. Kim doesn’t want to tangle with that so he folds. Sunday, 06th of August 2006 11:09 PM Level 25 has started. The blinds are $15,000 / $30,000 with a $5,000 ante. Sunday, 06th of August 2006 11:04 PM We have finally been informed that play will continue tonight for one more level, or until there are 45 players remaining.
Sunday, 06th of August 2006 11:03 PM These players are out and will receive $164,932 in prize money: 54. Scott O'Reilly 53. Richardo Velasco 52. Michael Bower 51. Nicolai Vivet 50. Richard Gryko Richard Gryko is eliminated in 50th place, by Jamie Gold. Gold bets to 100K UTG and Gryko responds by moving all-in for 920K. Golds calls and then turns over Ah Kc. Gryko has Jd 3s. Hmmmm… The flop comes Kh 6h 6d, giving a high pair to Gold. The crowd around gets noisy when the turn brings 7c. Gold reminds them that only another J will save Gryko. It quiets down when the river shows 9d, handing the win to Gold. Richard Gryko is finished. Sunday, 06th of August 2006 10:51 PM Nicolai Vivet busts in 51st place when he moves all-in after a pre-flop bet by Mitch Schock. Schock calls the raise and he flips up pocket Q’s. Vivet trails with his K J. The board comes Jc 8c 2h 5s Th. Schock wins with his over pair and Vivet is eliminated. Michael Bower bets to 100K and Kevin Aaronson calls. The flop comes 8h 7c 6h. Bower pushes all-in with 856K, claiming it’s his one bluff of the day. Aaronson rises from his seat and contemplates. He checks the payout schedule to see if he’s well off enough to call. He thinks longer until the clock is called on him. He finally calls. Bower turns up Ah Th, for the flush draw. Aaronson has Ad Qs, and is too nervous to watch the next cards come. After he walks away from the table, the turn and river bring Kd 6s. WHEW! Bower didn’t complete his flush and Bower takes the huge pot. Michael Bower is eliminated in 52nd place. Kevin Aaronson builds his stack to about 3,250,000. Sunday, 06th of August 2006 10:38 PM Jamie Gold loses some chips to Eric Molina. The board shows Ah 6c 3s 2d and Molina bets 100K, into a 200K pot. Gold raises to 300K and Molina comes over the top, pushing all-in with 700K. Molina starts psycho-babble talk to Gold about how he should just fold. Gold is a bit annoyed when Molina tosses his all-in chip at Gold’s chest. Gold tosses it back, and the babble continues. Gold waits a bit longer, then he folds. Not long after Molina scoops the pot, he utters the F-word. Gold quickly calls the floorman over and Molina gets a 10 minute penalty. No doubt, these two opponents will cross swords again. Sunday, 06th of August 2006 10:29 PM Ricardo Velasco finishes in 53rd place. He leaves with $164,932, for his hard work. After being crippled a few minutes ago, Scott O’Reilly is dealt a fatal hit. He busts in 54th place, for $164,932 in prize money. Sunday, 06th of August 2006 10:19 PM Ricki Nielson takes a nice pot when he bets to 87K and Paul Wasicka calls. The flop comes Qc Jd 5d, coaxing Wasicka to bet 150K. Nielson calls, and the turn brings 7s, which they both check. The river comes 3s and Nielson bets out 225K. Wasicka calls and watches Nielson turn up Ah Qh. Wasicka mucks his cards and Nielson takes the pot. Neilson is up to about 2.8 Million, while Wasicka drops to about 1.8 million. Sunday, 06th of August 2006 10:14 PM Mikael Thuritz doubles his chips when Scott O’Reilly bets to 80K and Thuritz pushes all-in with 527K. O’Reilly thinks on it for a few, then calls, turning up As Qc. Thuritz shows 9s 9d. The board comes Js 7c 6d 2d Ks, and O’Reilly doesn’t catch anything. He drops to about 93K, while Thuritz increases to about 1,111,000. Sunday, 06th of August 2006 10:08 PM David Einhorn takes some chips from Prahlad Friedman. Einhorn bets to 100K and Friedman calls. The flop comes Kh Qh 3s and Einhorn bets another 100K. Friedman calls, and the turn comes 4d. Einhorn bets another 100K. Friedman has had enough and he folds, mucking his cards. Einhorn scoops the pot and is up to about 2.8million. Sunday, 06th of August 2006 09:58 PM These players are done and have won $123,699 each: 61. Chris Damich 60. Shannon Westbrook 59. Max Reele 58. Stefan Mattsson busts in 57th place, when he moves all-in with his last 250K. Richard Lee calls and flips over As Ks. Mattsson reveals Ah Qs. The flop comes Jh Jd Ts, increasing Mattsson’s odds. The turn and river don’t cooperate though, and bring 6c 2s. Lee takes the win with his higher kicker, boosting him to $2million. Mattsson is eliminated. Aki Ruuskanen finishes in 58th place when the board shows Td Tc 8c 9c Th. Ruuskanen moves all-in with 329K, and is called by Jamie Gold. Ruuskanen has 6s 6c, and Gold rolls over Js Jd, for the better full-house. Ruuskanen is eliminated and leaves with $123,699 for his efforts. William Thorsson is the only caller. The river comes 6s and Reele bets out 200K. Thorsson raises to 550K. Reele states that he’s all-in for 400K more. Thorsson calls, and rolls over Qh Jh, for a flush. Reele has 8s 5d, for for two pair, which don’t measure up. Max Reele is eliminated and Thorsson scoops the pot for over 2,400,000. Sunday, 06th of August 2006 09:24 PM Shannon Westbrook is eliminated when he moves all-in with 250K and Sirous Jamshidi calls. Westbrook picks the wrong time to make that move, as he only has Th 5s, against Jamshidi’s Kh Ks. The board comes Jc 8h 3d 5d 8d, and Jamshidi’s pair of K’s dominate Westbrook, taking him out of the tournament. Sunday, 06th of August 2006 09:19 PM Recent eliminations. These players have won $90,713: 65. Rueben Peters 64. Noah Siegel These players have won $123,699: 63. Bryan Micon 62. Noah Siegel and Erik Friberg are heads-up in the hand when Siegel moves all-in and is called by Friberg. The board comes Js 8s 8h 4c Kd. Friberg eliminates Noah Siegel when his Jc Th are enough to dominate Seigel. Friberg is up to 4,778,000 now. Sunday, 06th of August 2006 08:58 PM Raphael Doromal hangs tough when the flop comes 9s 6s 4c, and he bets 300K. Sabyl Cohen raises all-in to call. Doromal calls her with his last 110K, and turns over 5s 4s. Cohen has pocket 10’s. The turn and river favor Doromal when they bring 5c 7h. Doromal doubles through with two pair. He increases to 1,400,000. Cohen drops to about 500K Sunday, 06th of August 2006 08:51 PM Reuben Peters is finished. He shoves his last 360K in and is called by Dustin Holmes. Peters has Jh Th, while Holmes flips over Ad 7d. The board comes 9s 8h 6d Tc 8d. Holmes catches a straight for the win. Peters is eliminated in 65th place. Sunday, 06th of August 2006 07:05 PM Players take a 90 minute dinner break. Back at 830pm Las Vegas time. Each of these players win $90,713, for their hard work: 69. Alan Resh 68. Vipul Kothari 67. Brian Nadell 66. Clint Brotherton Ken Jacobs made the raise to 60K from middle position and Brian Nadell came over the top to all in status for an additional 118K. Jacobs doesn’t mind giving him the call and showed the Ks Js. Nadell had him with the Ac Tc. The flop was good news bad news for everyone. It came the Kc Jc 4s giving Jacobs top two pair but giving Nadell the nut flush draw. The Ad on the turn helped Nadell even more but the blank 5s on the river buried him alive. Brian Nadell is out 67th for $90,713.

Although Brian was seeking the final table, he has done quite well this WSOP having cashed 3 times. He has proven he is an all around player having made the final table finishing 6th in Omaha Hi/Lo and coming in 15th in Stud. Erik Lynch moved all in preflop and Clint Brotherton woke up with a fighting hand. Lynch showed the As Jd and Brotherton the A Q. The flop brought a little for everyone, the Q J 4. The second jack hit the turn and Brotherton is devastated. To add insult to injury, the case jack lands on the river. Lynch doubled to 825K and Brotherton slipped way down to danger territory at 150K. We had the flop of the As 6c 2h. Vipul Kothari pushed all in and got the call, wanted or not, from Paul Raeburn who had more chips. Kothari showed the Ah 9d for top pair mediocre kicker, and Raeburn showed the Ac Qh sweet kicker. Now Kothari needs to snag a nine to make this happen for him. The Js Ks came and Raeburn wins. Vipul Kothari is out 68th for $90,713.

Sunday, 06th of August 2006 06:30 PM Alan Resh raised to 60K preflop and John Magill came over him to 205K. Resh pushed all in and Magill called still having chips left. Magill tossed over two fat black aces and Resh showed the ladies. The board didn’t aid Resh in cracking the aces. Alan Resh is out 69th for $90,713. Shannon Westbrook and James Flick battle up by getting down to the felt preflop. Westbrook was chip heavy to Flick and showed the Kd Jd. Flick showed presto, two black fives for a made hand. The flop brought a jack straight away with the Jh 7h 4d. The turn was the 7c and the river the Tc. Presto dies in its tracks as does James Flick who takes 70th for $90,173. Chris Kealy takes 71st for $90,173. Marcello Delgrosso is out 72nd for $90,173. The flop had arrived with the Ts 4c 2d. John Kim was all in and had the call from Ricki Nielsen. Kim had the Jc Th and Nielsen the Ks Tc. The turn was the Qd followed by the Ad. The kicker was pat and John Kim is out 73rd for $65,973. NO WAY IN HELL.....or if by the rules....NO WAY IN F'N HELL.....Eric Molina got a hand slap for saying "No way in hell". sheesh....that is so tame considering some of the stuff I have heard at these tables.....Anyway....with a sense of humor, he siad he is going to say "Carebears" now instead. The cutoff raised to 60K preflop and Kevin O’Donnell called from the button. Aaron Baltzell came over the top and moved it all in for 179K from the small blind. The cutoff mucked and O”Donnell called. Balzell had the Ac Qs and O’Donnell a lesser hand, the Kd Jh. The board however didn’t see it that way and immediately brought the J for O’Donnell. Nothing helped the big cards Aaron Baltzell had and he is out 74th for $65,973. Rob Berryman pushed all in preflop for his make it or break it move. William Thorsson matched that 460K bet; having Berryman covered. Berryman showed the Td Tc and Thorsson the 9d 9h. Berryman has hope as he has Thorsson outpipped. The board came the 4 4 3 2 4 and the tens make good for Rob Berryman as he doubled through William Thorsson. Erik Friberg raised to 75K preflop and received a call from 3 players. The flop came the Kc 9s 2h. Now they all checked. The turn came the Kd. Sabyl Cohen pushed all in for 550K. Friberg gave her the call only and showed the Qh Qd but Sabyl turned over one better, the Ks Js for kings. The river came the 5h and Sabyl Cohen, the only woman left in the event I believe, jumped to 1.3 million. Friberg still has bundles with his 3.7 mil. Sunday, 06th of August 2006 05:38 PM Allen Cunninham is ready to double up or get up as he moved all in against Ricki Nielsen. Allen had the Kc Jd and Ricki the 7d 7c and is ahead in chip count and hole cards. The flop brought Allen a jack and Nielsen sees no more cards to help his sevens. Allen Cunningham jumps to a million in chippage and Ricki Nielsen slips down the pike to danger status. Sunday, 06th of August 2006 05:29 PM
These players have played their hearts out and will receive $65,973 for their efforts. 81. Sebastian Zavarsky 80. Jean Houle 79. Scott Malone 78. Paramjit Gill

Sunday, 06th of August 2006 05:23 PM Chris “Rizen” Lynch moved all in against Scott Malone and had more chips. Lynch showed two black kings and Malone the Ts Th. The flop was brutal for Malone as it brought the Kd 5c 3h. He has to hit running tens to stay afloat. The Kh on the turn was the absolutely worst card out there..although all of them would have sucked except for a ten. Lynch takes the huge pot and Scott Malone takes a hike to the ropes in 79th place. Jean Houle raised to 70K and Dan Schmiech came over the top to 600K preflop. Houle made the call which put him down to the felt. He showed the Qs Qh and Dan the Ad Kd. Another classical matchup. The flop came the Jc Th 2c. Queens are sweet but Houle surely doesn’t want another. The turn is the 5s. Life is still good for Houle..but the river brought horror to Jean’s face as the Ks came rolling out. Jean Houle is out 80th. James Flick and Shannon Wesbrook butted heads in one of the first hands. They were both all in by the time the river got there. The board showed the Qd 4s 2h 9d 2c. Flick had the Ah Qh and Westbrook the Kc 8c. Flick rose to 420K while Westbrook slipped down to 500K. Sunday, 06th of August 2006 04:38 PM The players are on a short break. Level 23 will start when they return. The ante will be 3K with 10K / 20K blinds. Sunday, 06th of August 2006 04:35 PM The following bust outs have won $51,129: 85. Lasse Ubostad 84. Shyam Ravindran 83. Matthew Morgan 82. Paul Greim Shyam Ravindran goes out in 84th place when the flop shows As 4h 3h and Marc Friedman bets 25K. Ravindran calls and Dan Nassif raises to 150K. Friedman folds, and Ravindran asks for a chip count on Nassif. When he gets the count, he pushes all-in. Nassif calls and turns over 3d 3s for a set. Ravindran has Kh 7h. The turn and river bring Ac, handing Nassif a full-house. Ravindran is eliminated. Sunday, 06th of August 2006 04:19 PM Eric Lynch doubles up when he’s all-in for 292K and is called by Clint Brotherton, when the flop shows Ac Jc 4h. Lynch looks great with his Ac Ad, for a set. Brotherton flips up Kd Jd. The turn and river bring 6d 9s, and Lynch wins the pot. He’s up to about 600K now Sunday, 06th of August 2006 04:15 PM Eric Molina increases his stack when he bets to 40K and is called by both Ken Jacobs and Dan Nassif. The flop comes Js 7s 2h. Nassif bets 80K, and Jacobs folds, but Molina calls. The turn brings 3c. Molina bets 100K this time, and Nassif calls. The river shows Qh. Both players check it, and Molina flips up Kc Jc. Nassif mucks his cards, and the pot goes to Molina. His stack is up to about 1,450,000 now. Sunday, 06th of August 2006 04:04 PM These players will receive $51,129 also: 88. Annie Duke 87. Benjamin Logan 86. Rick Mombourquette Rick Mombourquette is eliminated when he shoves all-in against Andrew Schreibman, and is called. Mombourquette turns over A Q, while Schreibman shows A K. The board doesn’t improve either player so Schreibman wins with Ace high, King kicker. Mombourquette is out in 86th place.
