Phillipe Rouas pushes all-in with his last 20K and gets calls from Terris Preston, Tony G and David Plastik. The flop comes Ah 5h 4c and everyone checks it. In fact, they all check to the river. Preston scoops the pot with pocket 10’s. Rouas is busted in 10th place and wins $25,743 in prize money.

Tony G fights to stay alive when he is all-in for 36K, after the flop comes 7s 6h 3s. Hellmuth calls and turns over 5s 5d. Tony G has Ts 2s a the flush draw. The turn completes Tony G’s flush with Ks. The river is negligible and Tony G doubles up to about 110K.

Humberto Brenes is eliminated when he pushes all-in for 85K. Hellmuth calls and turns over As 8c. Brenes looks good with 9s 9h, before the flop. The board comes, 6d 4h 3h 4s Ac, Hellmuth rivers the winning high pair. Brenes is sent to the rail in 11th place. He wins $25,743.

Juha Helppi takes out another player.
Helppi pushes all-in for 88K and gets called by John Taylor, who is all-in for 80K too. Taylor turns over Qh Qc and Helppi has Ac 7d. The flop favors Helppi with Ah Tc 7h, giving him two pair. The turn and river bring 7c 5s, and they don’t help Taylor. John Taylor busts in 12th place and leaves with $25,743.

Jim McCrink goes out when he’s allin with his last 6K and Juha Helppi calls. Helppi turns over pocket 2’s and McCrink has A J. The flop pairs McCrink’s Jack, but it also brings a 2, and a set to Helppi. McCrink doesn’t improve and is eliminated in 13th place. His winnings are $21,062.

Ryan Hughs is out of the tournament in 14th place. He was eliminated when Daryn Firicano rivers a flush. Hughs wins $21,062 in prize money.

Humberto Brenes bets to 18K. Hellmuth calls and Jordan Morgan pushes all-in with his last $37K, from the BB. Brenes folds, but Hellmuth calls and turns over Qc Jc. Morgan shows Ad Tc, for a pair of 10’s on the flop. The turn brings a J, giving Hellmuth the higher pair and the win. Jordan Morgan is eliminated in 15th place for $21,062 in prize money.

Alex Balandin goes out when on a raised pot, Balandin and Daryn Firicano watch the flop come Kc Jd 9s. Firicano wants to know how much Balandin has left. When he learns it’s 111K, Firicano bets, to put Balandin all-in. When Balandin calls, he turns over Ks 9s. Looking good. Firicano rains on his parade however, when he flips up Kd Kh for top set. The turn and river are 4c Ac, which doesn’t improve Balandin. He’s eliminated in 16th place, and wins $16,382 in prize money.

Phil Hellmuth pads his stack when he raises to 18K and is called by John Taylor. The flop comes Js 8c 6d, and they both check it. The turn brings 4h, and Hellmuth bets 12K. Taylor calls, and the river is Ah. Hellmuth bets 45K this time and Taylor backs down and mucks. Hellmuth scoops the pot and is now up to about 510K.

Phil Hellmuth reclaims the lead on the board when he eliminates Shane Schleger, and wins a huge pot.
There are 4 players that limp in, before the flop comes Td 7h 7d, and Schleger bets 8K, UTG. Hellmuth raises to 20K from the button. The other players fold to Hellmuth, but Schleger reraises another 30K. Hellmuth calls and the turn brings Ts. Schleger bets 40K, which Hellmuth calls. The river is As, coaxing Schleger to push all-in with $150K. Hellmuth debates for a very long time before calling with Qc Th. Schleger turns over Tc 9c, and both players have trip 10’s. Unfortunately for Schleger, Hellmuth’s kicker is higher. Shane Schleger goes out the hard way in 18th place. He wins $16,382 in prize money.
Hellmuth catapults back to the top of the board with a stack of about 493K.

Tony G folds to Hughs and Hughs turns over Ah Td. Leigh flips up 9d 8c. The flop comes 8d 7h 5s. The turn and river bring Kc Ac, which give top pair to Hughs. Paul Gianfriddo busts when he pushes all-in with his last 12K and gets a call from Daryn Firicano. Ginfriddo turns over 9 9 and Firicano has K 6. The flop comes 6 6 2, giving Firicano trip 6’s. The turn brings a K, and Firicano improves even more to a full-house. The river is negligible and Paul Gianfriddo is eliminated in 19th place. He wins $11,701 in prize money. Firicano increases to about 280K, which hikes him up to the top of the board
