Harry Demetriou finished in 2nd place, earning $673,272.

	Devin Porter - 3rd place

Hand 99: Devin was all in for 15K of the small blind. He has Q2 against Harry's T7 and it stood up and he doubled up.

Hand 101: Devin was all in for the big blind. Both Harry and Stan called and checked down the board of J T 6 7 9 . Stan made a straight with K8, but Devin had J5 of hearts and made the flush to survive and was up to about 180K.

Hand 102: Devin moved in for 165K from the small blind and Harry called with T9 offsuit; Devin had Q6 of hearts and the lead, but the flop was 4 9 K giving Harry the pair. Turn and river were 8 and T and Devin was done.

Devin Porter finished in 3rd place, earning $332,937.

Hand 98: Harry raised to 400K from the button and Devin moved all in from the big blind. Harry called and showed pocket 9s. Devin was behind with K6 of clubs. Board came 8 T J Q 5 and Harry doubled up, leaving Devin crippled with only about 30K.

Blinds are up to 60K/120K with 15K ante.

Hand 85: On a flop of K 5 2, Harry checked, Stan bet 200K, and Harry called. Turn was another 2; Harry checked, Stan moved all in, (1.01 million) and Harry called, showing T2 for trip deuces. Stan was in bad shape with two pair, 5s and 2s and had only two outs. Of course he hits a 5 on the river to make a bigger full house and double up.

	David Williams - 4th place

Hand 80: David raised to 230K from the small blind and Devin called from the big. Flop was K J T; David moved all in and Devin called, showing K3 of hearts for top pair. David's J6 offsuit was behind, until a 6 landed on the turn to give David two pair. But his lead was short-lived, as the river was a King, giving Devin trips.

David Williams finished in 4th place, earning $221,958.

Hand 77: Harry raised to 180K; Stan re-raised to 580K; Harry moved all in (about 2.2 million) and Stan called. Harry's pocket Aces were way ahead of Stan's K5 of clubs. Board came 2 3 5 8 8 with only 2 clubs and Harry doubled up.

Hand 76: Stan raised to 200K and Harry called from the big. Flop was J 8 6 all spades. Harry checked, Stan bet 300K, and Harry called. Turn was 5 ; both checked; river was T ; both checked. Harry showed K8 for a pair of 8s and Stan mucked.

Hand 55: Stan moved in from the small blind and David called all in from the big blind. Stan had K3 off and David had 76 off -- and flopped the nuts: 3 4 5 for the straight. Turn and river were T and 5 and David doubled up.

Hand 53: David raised from the button to 150K and Harry moved all in for 1.095 million from the big blind. David called and showed pocket 9s. Harry was ahead with pocket Jacks. Board came 7 T K Q 4 and Harry doubled up.

Hand 47: Devin moved all in from the button and was called by Stan (big blind). Devin was ahead with pocket 6s. Stan had AQ offsuit. Board came 3 J 4 9 3 and Devin doubled up.

Hand 44: Steve moved his last 155K all in from the button. David called the extra 105K from the big blind and showed 95 offsuit. Steve had AK of clubs. The board came A 7 6 9 5 and gave David two pair and the win.

Steve Frederick finished in 5th place, earning $16,469.

	Robert Mizrachi - 6th place

Hand 41: Stan raised to 190K; Devin re-raised from the button to 440K, then Robert moved all in. Stan called, Devin folded. Stan showed two red Kings and was ahead of Robert's two black Queens. The flop was J 9 8 all clubs, giving Robert some additional outs, but running Jacks on the turn and river sealed his fate.

Robert Mizrachi finished in 6th place, earning $129,476.

Hand 35: Steve moved all in under-the-gun and everyone folded.

While things are quiet on the WPT set, I could tell you how I turned $300 into $1213 in an hour and a half last night in the Mirage Poker Room, at the $2-$5 blinds No Limit table....but I'm sure the action is going to pick up here soon.

As you can tell, there's not a lot of exciting action right now.

Hand 27: David raised from the small blind to 100K and Devin callled from the big. Flop was 3 7 Q, all clubs. David bet 100K and Devin called. Both players checked the T on the turn and 6 on the river. Devin showed pocket 5s - no club - and took the pot.

Hand 19: Robert raised to 95K, then Harry moved all in. Robert folded.

Hand 16: David raised from the button to 90K and Robert (big blind) called. They checked it down: J T 6 9 7 and David showed pocket 4s. Robert mucked and David took the pot.

Hand 9: David called from the small blind and Devin checked his option. Flop was J 3 8 rainbow. David checked, Devin bet 65K and David called. Jack on the turn and both players checked. River was a 4, David checked, Devin bet 95K and David called. Devin had T9 (nothing but a busted draw) and David showed an 8 for a pair of 8s and won the pot.

I have to apologies, dear readers, as we cannot see the cards on the table or any of the monitors from where the WPT has put us media. So unless the announcer tells us what the cards are, I can't report them to you. So in the previous hand, I don't know what David's other hole card was, just the 8 that made the pair.

Hand 3: Robert raised under the gun to 80K and Devin called from the big blind. Flop was 5 4 2 . Devin checked, Robert bet 120K and Devin called. Turn was K ; both checked. River was T and Devin bet 200K. Robert called and Devin showed A x for the nut flush and Robert mucked his hand.

Players have been introduced and cards are in the air. 3K ante, 15K/30K blinds.

So here's your first look at the new set.  And Courtney Friel will not be back this season.  They have a new hostess who looks, surprisingly, a bit like Shana Hiatt.  Her name is Sabina Gadecki and today's event will be her premiere with the WPT.

Today's the day -- in more ways than one! The new Season 5 WPT set will be unveiled. Gavin Smith will receive his Player of the Year Award for WPT Season 4. And the exciting finish of the four-day $10,000 Mirage Poker Showdown Championship.
