This year’s schedule also features 8 preliminary events, but the Omaha and 7-Card Stud Hi/Lo events are gone in favor of a Ladies Only NLHE event and a $3,000 NLHE event. And of course the final event is a $10,000 buy-in event. Foxwoods is still adding cash to the prize pools for all events. Click here for the complete schedule. No Limit Hold’em is all the rage and draws the biggest fields, so it seems logical to give the people what they want. With the addition of the Foxwoods Poker Classic to the WPT Schedule, this year’s field for the Championship should be even larger than last year’s main event, despite the larger buy-in. Also, this will be the final event in WPT Season 4 prior to the WPT Championship at Bellagio in April, so that’s another reason not to miss this event! I will be at Foxwoods bringing you all the action with live updates on PokerPages.com beginning Monday, March 27th until the final river card falls in the WPT event on Sunday April 9th.
